Please tell me that "J'onn loves cookies" thing was some kind of "what if?" one shot.

Because if it wasn't it's the stupidest thing. Ever. In all of comicbookdom.

Wait, I forgot about Zorn. So it's the second stupidest thing.

Amen. Love the amount of nosal bleeding needed to control the mind of th UN officials after the incident. Sublety at its best.

Pity that they had to change the Oreo name to an invented name because of possible lawsuits.

Agreed - I have to own this book. What's the issue #? I will hop on ebay and buy it right now.

I wish there were more comics like this.

I love how Beetle's riding on Booster's back as they zoom past Max's meeting. It's such a practical, and yet totally gay, way of getting around with your flight-empowered friend.

Holy shit you're right. Somebody photoshop a horse whip into Beetle's outstretched hand for maximum hilarity.

    Classic.

I think I need to try tracking that issue down, nice art too.

And Max's internal monologue makes the IC stuff not work, just saying. Change is bad, etc, etc.

Send your comics along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the DC offices and they'll go over all of Max's thoughts with a black magic marker, free of charge!

well at the end of the actual issue it's implied that j'onn may have made that particular event up, but the addiction was as real as yo mama's addiction to meth

Was it the same Flash as in the first episode?
And J'onn is going to be in it from what I read in TV guide.

Yeah same "flash" as 2 seasons back but he's grown a lot as kids that age tend to do. He's Bart Allen so right now he's going by Impulse, if it were to go on and follow the comics he'd go by Kid Flash (the 2nd incarnation) and then later become The Flash (the 4th incarnation).

    also:
I hope that do right by J'onn on smallville when they bring him in for more then just a hit and run.

The round red glowing eyes and the oreos were a dead give away when I first saw s6e08.
When Clark is back in the barn at the end of the episode he steps on another oreo so J'onn must have followed him back from Seattle.

Then they don't do anything with J'onn for at least another 3 episodes because its all about green arrow and then his little tribe (they never name it justice league, Ollie simply says "We were thinking about something with "Justice" in it" in reference to the name of his little group). This last week concluded with him breaking things off with Lois and preparing to leave metropolis. I'm sure he'll be back for scattered episodes.

I could do w/o smallvilles version of Aquaman and Cyborg. Bart and Ollie are pretty cool and heres to hoping J'onn is too.

So instead of masks superheroes are now doing hoodies with sun glasses? The unabomer look is now the superhero standard?

That being said, I enjoyed the episode. The slow-mo walk was cheesy in the sense that slow-mo walks are always cheesy. Fortunately, they only gave aquaman like 3 lines. Not because I like hating on aquaman, but because the dialogue they gave him last time was so bad it made my ears bleed. ("Wet and ready, bro!", "With me in the surf and you on the turf there's no way he can stop us!")
