Welcome to Presidential Phalla 2008. Once every four years we as a nation (sorry non-Americans) come together to bicker about which party’s candidate should become the next President of the United States. After following the current nominees for almost two years now we are just days away from electing the next President. It has been a long bloody battle and it is still an incredibly close race. Who will win? Republicans? Democrats? Neither?
This will be a faction game with a twist. Also it should be stated now that there are many different mechanics in play. This is your warning

This phalla is a bipartisan phalla.

Vote Will Close each night at 11 pm EST/ 8 pm PST. All actions of that day should also be PMed to me by that time

RULES

Phalla is a version of the party game Mafia. All standard rules apply.

No anonymous contact, etc, etc.

Proboards are allowed if needed and links to them should be PMed to me

If you are dead do not contact players still in the game.

No quoting role PMs

I haven’t hosted a phalla before but I know I don’t like inactivity. Please try and play everyday and if you know you are going to be gone send me a message. This should be a short game but inactivity will be dealt with accordingly.

As it is an election you will vote each day to remove someone from the race like so !Monkeyfeet. You can retract like so !retract Monkeyfeet . Please, please, make it known if you are retracting. It makes tallying so much easier. I will go as far to say that is is required

Be sure to give me someone hilarious to roleplay as! ;) In that vein, dibs on Jeanne Shaheen (I actually like Jeanne... more than Sununu at least, but in my somewhat disturbed mind she's a hilarious caricature of a human being. Note that if I actually get this character somehow, I'm going to make an epic reveal day 1.)

    I'm going to try my best to not let it distract me from work like the last one did though, so don't expect me to be bouncing all over the place this time. =) I think I probably lost a day worth of work or more over the last week due to incessantly checking the forum. =)

    (note to self... write some kind of Phalla forum update checker/notification program sometime soon...)
