One of the most interesting-creepy things that I've ever experienced was having dinner with the Moonies sect. True, I was tricked into going, and I didn't know they were Moonies....had I been aware I wouldn't have drank anything they gave me... but I went... it was creepy... and I made jokes with the Moonies and sang with them.

If ANYTHING, you'll get a very interesting story out of it.

Ditto on the "This is in Australia" thing.

But dude...you could just fill half a cup with the coffee, and half a cup with milk. You don't need to put the milk in the half empty carton...

Anyways, that is ridiculous. Coffee should come from a coffee pot, not a carton. And it's not exactly iced if it's just refrigerated. Damn Aussies ruining coffee.

Oh my god I don't think any other chat threads have had food discussed so much!

Which is sad right now, because my campus closed all our dining halls and food vendors that accept meal plan points, so I have a pizza and $17 to last me from last night until Wednesday morning. Damn them.

Unless you mean wednesday of 2009, that should be easy mode. Go to the grocery store and stock up on veggies and pasta, always comparatively cheap and decently healthy. Or if you're completely lazy/poor, you could pull the ramen diet, and stretch that 17 dollars out for another 40 or so years.

For obvious reasons we don't have Thanksgiving here so I have to wait until Christmas for delicious mustard pork, Karelia stew, boiled potatoes, carrot casserole and of course my favorite Christmas rice porridge.

For some reason I think a few years back I posted some Christmas recipes in the chat thread :D

Also, my friend who's an artist told that she needs a new laptop. Too many parties I guess. (NSFW)

A friend of mine is getting married (woooot, I'm the best man!!!). I'm thinking of giving him an ATM giftcard with $250... but I want to make him a custom card holder in the shape of a tux... it opens revealing a cartoony illustration of a guys chest.

I'm afraid this might come over as a bit gay and offensive... but... maybe this is me. My job makes me think everyone is gonna get offended somehow. He's a graphic designer and has a very good sense of humor so I'm sure he'll appreciate the effort... but I mean... it's his wedding after all!

I dunno, what do you guys think?
