Like what? I thought it was a pretty broad comedy, although extremely intelligent.

Surely the presence of Ricky Gervais makes it unsuitable for watching though?

Yeah because he was only in two scenes so only two scenes suffered. I imagine he's in most of Ghost Town.

He's apparently exactly like the character he plays in The Office. Which is to say, he wasn't playing a character.

    And that's a little sad.

i went to my friend's place over the weekend and asked if he and his girlfriend had seen burn after reading

"ugh, that movie sucked" (they both thought)
"wow, you guys sure have different opinions than me of what is a good movie"
"what, that we like good movies and you don't?"

i wanted to kick her in the face, but i am far too polite for that

and then she pulls that line and i'm thinkin, "man i was trying to be polite about this!"

I can put up with feeling differently about Burn After Reading. It's a different kind of humor than what most people hold.

but then you had to tell me that they didn't like brick and now I have a knife in my hand.

brick is even more different than most movie

it's modern pulp noir set in a high school with outrageous dialog
