    man, that shit is money.

That is an excellently crafted figure, but it really exposes the awfulness of that costume design in 3 dimensions.

Dear Graphic Violence, I just ordered all three of the upcoming Hot Toys Iron Man figures in one go. Am I:

I love that the Mark II is actually a different mold (or at least with rivets) unlike the figures.

They are really nice (I don't want to know how much the cost). In a world where I buy that kind of thing, I'm not convinced I would get the Mark 2 and the Mark 3, they seem pretty similar except for the paint job. But yeah, they look awesome.

Hopefully the fact that I live in Blighty will be in my favour on that one, as it may mean the store will still have stock for me notwithstanding my late booking. Maybe.

Also, Sideshow is selling them in the US. It still shows as pre-order with them, so they could have stock left.

So...i just got my Thanos & Red Skull Mighty Muggs in the mail. They are pretty awesome, but i kinda really wish Red Skull had a gun. I get that the figures are supposed to be pretty minimalist, and i like that, but man...he needs a gun.

Other than that though, pretty awesome. Combine 'em with the last wave's Galactus and you've got three of my favorite Marvel icons, in a form i never, ever thought i'd see 'em in. My comics shelf is lookin' pretty classy. Also precious. :)

I'm just going to get Thanos, these muggs are getting expensive (they seem to be jumping nearly $10 AUD per wave over here). I wish he had the infinity gems on his glove, that would be beyond perfect.

Yeah, Infinity Gems would've been awesome, and would've basically cost them $0 to implement. It's not vital to the costume or anything, but i don't think that there's a Marvel fan out there who wouldn't say "Infinity Gauntlet" in answer to "Thanos" in word-association therapy.

Can you just get Thanos though? I guess maybe on ebay or something. Everywhere i saw was just selling them as a pair, and by the time you pay a reseller you may as well just get both from a first party retailer.

Some picky nerd from Hong Kong was pointing out how WAY OFF the abdomen is on the Iron Man figure. I can't say I see it myself. More pics here: http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/forum/showthread.php?p=795806

I could go without hippie-body-paint Aquaman. ...and wasn't there already a Firestorm figure? Is this one different?

That Blue Beetle and Captain Cold look awesome though.

looking at the pictures, I prefer the sculpt of the other one actually. Granted, I haven't seen this one in hand yet, which normally makes all the difference.

This might be the first good (non-DC Direct) Wonder Woman figure.

So that's the Firestorm that was supposed to be a variant in series 2? I may have to pick up Flash. And Blue Beetle. And Booster Gold. And...

Awesome! I can't wait to not ever find any of these because of scalpers and shoddy distribution! :)

But...wait a minute. Wave 7? Isn't Wonder Woman supposedly already in the Wave 4 that i've yet to even see a trace of? How are we already to 7?

although when i pulled the plastic out of the box I was like "I got a Joker figure with no head?"
