There were some errors with the server. I know about it. Jason and I are getting it back to life. Things might be a bit confused tonight, but it should all clear up by tonight

That's okay. I made an ass of myself and PM'ed A Duck! about it. He told me that Alpha posted something about it in the on-topic forums and all I could say was, "Oh, like I ever go over there..."

Do you pay attention to all those signs at the gas pump telling you to to make sure your car, cell phone, PDA, pacemaker, etc. are all turned off before you start pumping?

Why are we seeing 'Too many connections' now, when we used to see a huge unholy mass of PHP error reporting.

Too many connections is so negative. It means that some people can see it, because they woke up earlier than you did, and they are now laughing at your misfortune. Where as EVERYONE seemed to get the huge sprawl of PHP errors.

first off i know you didnt wake up earlier than I did, you would have to go to sleep to wake up right?
    :P

And second, error codes are logged isntead of displayed..
Due to some server problems earlier a few tables kinda got farkled and stuff....repairing them as i spot the error type deal, but as for now you should not be seeing any errors about tooo many connections....

Maybe it's just me (and you'll excuse me for being anal about this), but it seems that, while much more consistent, the site (especially the forums) load slower than when we were on HomeLAN (on a good day).

I see 'hiccups' in loading. It's almost as if 35% of the page will load, then pause, then 20% more will load, then pause again, and then the remaining 45% will load. It's noticeable because you can see half a table cell, or most of a full row, but the rest is black.

I'm fairly certain it's not on my end, as I've tried different browsers on different connections and I keep getting it.

Or maybe I'm just being overly picky.

When searching by keyword on the off-topic side, you get a "Could not obtain matched posts list" error. This does not occur if you search only by author.
