    D: I wanna go to the midnight launch. But the last one I went to was boring, and by the time I get it home, and install it, it will probably be 2-3 in the morning. I need to get up at 5. :/

    I have approved vacation time for the next couple of days, but won't be picking the game up before tomorrow morning. My main is parked in the SW Harbor, my primary alt is going to try and finish one more set of IoQD dailies to hit exalted and then hit Menethil. That way I can try out both of the starting areas.

    Alright, I believe I have made the correct changes to my copy of the beta to let me log in with it rather then installing WotLK.

    It worked for TBC. We'll see if it works for WoTLK.

    I don't suppose you could point me in the direction of some instructions for doing that? I've a friend with a busted dvd-rom that's trying to find a way to get the expansion installed.

    The night TBC was comming out I played Av because I was bored
    I was not the only one. It was depressing and frustrating to see a first blood elf when I got out of one game.

    On my server everyone was gathered at the dark portal slaughtering alliance and we were summoning level 1 blood elves to join us.

    When I first started playing, I started a human warrior named Dracosbane and made way too many noobish mistakes with him. Among them were creating him on an oceanic server (the game suggested it to me, even though I live on the west coast of the US) thus making it impossible to do any kind of raid at a reasonable hour, didn't do a very good job keeping my blacksmithing skill up forcing me to try and mine enough thorium to increase it from 260ish to 300 (not fun), and many others. Eventually I deleted the character and made an orc warrior on Antonidas making sure his alch and herb match up to level and have been having a blast tanking.

    Now though, Dracosbane is back and he's pissed. He will be my undead DK. How is this possible? Well when I deleted him, he was in epl...

    At work for another 5 hours, I will get home log on wow, cry slightly since there is no way I could get wrath tonight or tomorrow since there is no direct download site for it. Then log out and go play left for dead. Exciting huh?

    That is correct.

    So try out Myers people. They were boxed, so I took it from the electronics section down to the clothing section and paid for it there.

    Edit: My mate kicks his DK off tomorrow. I need to convince him to roll either a Tauren or Orc instead of a Blood Elf in 24 hours.

    Well i saw the first server-first achievement tonight. For skinning.

    Guess it's good to see they buffed the skill-up rate?

    I don't have wrath yet, and won't likely play till tomorrow at about midnight tomorrow, then i have to go to work for 4 hours on friday. I'm not as annoyed as i would have been had this happened at TBC's release.

    I guess this is final proof of me kicking the habit.

    i hate expansions. i'm always late to the party and just got really really good at my toons at this level. i had built up a name for myself as a quality dps and reliable healer.

    Now, it all goes out the window and I don't have time to level to 80 until after the new year at best.

    I thought they took out all the "Server First X" acheivements.

    Or was that just the titles for them?

    I'm almost at the point of hyperventilation trying to figure out what spec my DK is going to be (I'm going to be my guild's token 10-man raid DK). I'm leaning towards Unholy because, well, it sounds fun, but Blood is closer to what I've played before (Rogue, Fury Warrior, Enh Shammy). Really looking at Unholy right now, though.

    I'll be leveling with Unholy. Perma-ghoul is best.

    Edit: It came while I was typing.

    Edit 2: Everyone on the boat got sent to the graveyard, still alive. Apparently I don't have the expansion installed...even though I do.

    I just got on a boat with a bunch of people who had the expansion installed. I fully expected to get ported back to the docks, but I didn't expect everyone else to as well! Of the 40+ people, probably only 4 made it over there.


    Apparently you have to relog in order for it to work properly.
