That's almost 40 hours allowing for adequate stopping, eating and gassing (but no sleeping) time. That first 20 hours might not be shit, but the second will kick your ass if you're not properly prepared. Two driver's might be able to do it, but three are strongly recommended, and don't expect to do it much faster than this without either getting a few speeding tickets or burning yourselves out way too early and not making it on time.

So how exactly does the CCST travel? Is it a huge conglomeration of vehicles or is it several buses?

It is a grand mass of vehicles, like so:

Okay thanks for clearing that up. Also, do they just have a set place where people are supposed to meet up or is it just sort of merge into the mess of vehicles?

Wait... waypointS? I thought it was just one.

And to get back on topic... Anybody know when the dates are officially going to be announced? I keep checking the calendar on the WSCTC site and nothing has shown up yet. But I'm guessing that's because of child's play.

And I want to update the CCST schedule. Granted, I'm just assuming it's Aug 28-30 until somebody says otherwise.

No, we were just changing lanes at the same time, showing off our superior inter-car communication skills.

Secret of the video: One of the cars had no communication with the rest of the cars.

Im sure this is old news now but just thought I'd update this thread. PAX website says this

"Thanks for everyone that made PAX 2008 a huge success! We ended up again shattering all expectations for the event with over 58,000 attendees! The next PAX will be on Labor Day Weekend, 2009 (September 4th, 5th and 6th), so mark off your calendars now! Details for both PAX Prime and the new PAX East in Boston (2010!) coming soon!"

Yeah, I already put that in an announcement. I did redo the schedule, but now all I need to do is push all the dates ahead 7 days. No big deal.

Fucking awesome! I'll be 21.. *does a victory dance* I was a little worried that it would be on my B-Day again, and would still be twenty for most of PAX '09.
