I know that's probably not representative of exact sales or anything, but Complete Control is at parity with Get Your Rock On? That is not right.

I have no idea why The Colour and the Shape is so low on that list.

So new DLC, got the Girl pack for the Lacuna Coil. I find it awesome and amusing that they have the guitarist singing all the 2nd vocalists parts. It's a pretty cool idea to show two singers on the stage when the game only officially allows for one.

That's pretty awesome. I wondered how it was going to be done since Our Truth doesn't have both of them singing on it. It would be awesome for it to change the singers voice a little for the background singer.

Question to anybody that has an omega pedal. They say to put the soft side down, well, I just keep tearing up the felt pads. Plus, the beater keeps comng loose. Is there any reason not to use the other side of the beater? It seems to be working, and less double hits that way. Or just cause the noise? Cause it seems as loud as the felt side

No. At the end of the cord there is a dongle of sorts that breaks away from the USB end so that is the cord is kicked out during gameplay it will not break the USB port on the 360.

Use the part from a wired controller, RB drumset, etc. They all use the same connector.

Replacement cables for that can be found on eBay and cost like $10, which is a little steep but what can you do?

    I myself have a question.

I want to get Rock band 2 for Christmas, however I don't know which system to get it for, either 360 or Wii. I really do not care for the online as I can just play it with friends.. If i get it for the Wii then i can just download the songs on the system. But the thing is will the Wii version just be a hack job like the original version was, or are we going to be able to create our own bands? I think that's the real seller for me on the difference between the versions...If you can help me with this problem that would be great.

    Check out the OP.

You can also do a quick search on IGN for their review on the Wii version of Rock Band 2. It will have all the features minus some logo/artwork tinkering. Other than that, everything else is in there including online World Tour. The DLC thing is a bit complex to explain but essentially you pick out the songs you want before playing, or something like that.

Either version will work fine. However, I heavily encourage the 360 version as the favoritism by both HMX and Microsoft is obviously present and some people on the Playstation or Wii will feel left out. Things like earlier DLC, special events, and things like playing alongside artists like the Foos, No Doubt (happened before) and now the D. There have been others, I'm sure.

Funny, I was just getting on here to tell you bastards that Tenacious D has a couple live performance videos up for free (for now) in the music video section, just sort by Release Date (sorry, I'm still not on this whole NXE wagon just yet).

Tribute Live is possibly the greatest thing that's happened to me all week. Happy Tuesday!

According to Rockband.com, the Wii version will ship out on the 5th of January while Amazon is saying it won't be shipped until December 30th.

Also, the Wii will be playing "catch up" in terms of the DLC catalog. You'll have all current DLC but they're gonna have to retroactively add the tracks before the Wii release as time goes by. Also, Nintendo doesn't allow for "packs" to be sold so it's all individual tracks at full price and you miss out on pack/album discounts that LIVE/PSN gets.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I sent friend requests to Kyle and Jack. Fingers crossed that I get in on the action.

I'd really suggest the 360 version... if only for the reason Arikado suggested. HMX really doesn't support the other versions nearly as much as they do the 360 version, you'll definitely miss out on a lot of benefits if you go Wii. And of course the 360 has a big leg up on the Wii as far as online/DLC goes.
