So far it seems to have something to do with vote manipulation I think. But I doubt that you could benefit from using your own word yourself. Probably someone else has to say it, without you telling them.

Spending two days on Maximus, with no ability to see anything from voting records really doesn't help. I know Mr. D and The Dagon are good, and... that's about it.
So. MagicMan, why did you say Maximus' word when you voted for him, and then quote him again to say his word more on the next page? Did you know that it would give him power for his word to be said that many times by other people?

The words were still celebrating, they'd removed the evil F*ck from language forever, and they were on a high, ready to find the remaining naughty words.
"Well then, tonight we've found another obvious target - that vertroue chap was swearing all over the place, and only an evil word would horribly swear like that. I've counted the votes, and we're taking him down"
A pile of Movie scripts was sat there, ready to burn - all the same: Indiana Jones and the Crystal skull.
"Let's hope we remove more than one abomination tonight"
Vertroue was dragged along, kicking and screaming:
"I made a mistake!! I'm sorry! I'm new!"
"Shut up and burn"
And he did. He burnt down to his bare bones, his constituent letters, if you will. And they discovered he'd been telling the truth. Poor guy. He'd once been Table, a goodly word. And now he was dead. Vertroue was gone forever.
Grundlterror was walking along, keeping himself to himself, when the dreaded white rain fell from the sky, slowly painting him into oblivion. He was covered, he was drowning; grundlterror was gone forever. Those that attacked him walked away satisfied.
What they didn't know was that grundl had a friend. His friend: 'book cover' had spent his life protecting the written word, and now was no different. Book-cover peeled himself off the ground, and grundlterror was there, underneath, perfectly preserved.
Grundlterror had survived.
Infidel wasn't quite so lucky. He was found later on, covered in the filthy white stuff, like a plasterer's radio. When the other words got to the scene to find what had happened, they managed to scratch through a bit - but not enough to save Infidel, just enough to see that he had once been 'Box'

As you may have guessed, everyone here has a word. If someone had mentioned someone else's word in Cyan, both you, and they would have had a vote worth 2. But not one of you got it.
But I can't stay mad at you.
I'll make it a bit easier for you tonight:
I am also represented by a word. I can't be seered, I'm not in the game, I'm above you all - but if any of you posts my word in CYAN, one guess each - they get TWO vigs. That's right: TWO.

Please vote - I know it's a holiday weekend, but it shouldn't take too long out of your day, and it makes things go that little bit smoother for everyone else.

Wait. So do we get the vigs as soon as we guess correctly, or for the next day? If it's for the next day, what happens if the person with the correct guess dies?
To clarify - as soon as the word is guessed, I will pm the person that guessed it - but everyone only gets one guess. It may go to no one. Thus, there's no point in replecating what someone else has already written, as they will get the prize ahead of you.
With that in mind, Lawn, I will let you change your guess - as I wasn't clear in the first place.
