So there was a storm last week, and a nest containing two little baby birdies was apparently abandoned by the parents, as there were no adult birds in sight of the nest for several days prior to said storm, and so they got pretty starved and cold and wet, but my parents brought them in and have now been feeding them for the last few days:

DSC_1258.jpg
They're so hungry!

DSC_1261.jpg
D'AWWW he's all like "aw yeah, check this shit out"

DSC_1272.jpg
D'AWWWW they love each other!

We took them to the vet, but the vet said that they were just going to put them down if the animal shelter place didn't come to claim them, and they wouldn't come, because it's just a pair of pigeons. So my parents decided to keep them instead. D'awwww.

Oh, they need names SE++, so help me out.

You're lucky you got young ones - my girlfriend insisted on helping a fully-grown pigeon that couldn't fly last year. This help involved bringing it back to my house, keeping it in my shed and feeding it my cereal. She then blamed me when it escaped.

This man knows the truth about birds.

At least eagles are honest in the fact that they are evil. You gotta respect that.

At first my weary eyes were unable to distinguish the birds in the last panel, so I thought there was only one and it was some weird mass of bursting bird muscle. Then I thought the syringe photos were actually depicting steroid injections.

It's not too late to start doing that though. I think bird boxing could become the next cockfighting.

Yeah I know, they're fucking pigeons. They could've at least been something cool like Kookaburras.

CAN YOU REALLY LOOK INTO THEIR LOVING EYES AND LET THE VET PUT THEM DOWN!?!

    My parents clearly couldn't.
