I guess any hammer is automatically hammer sized, no matter what size it is.

Not really no. I maintain that a hammer needs to be within a certain as of yet unspecified set parameters to be able to be useful for hammering and thus be a hammer.

Wait, what? So when Thor's hammer is stolen and he must masquerade as a woman to get it back - there's some kind of sexual undercurrent in that story?

I kind of want to name my USB stick Munin, now.

i'm still within 30 days of renewing my contract, if you want to try me.

Hey, if you can keep your SERO plan and get something neat like the HTC Touch Pro, more power to you.

If you'd like industry-leading customer service, along with MyFaves unlimited calling to any 5 people on any network in the United States, maybe T-Mobile's for you. Or if you're interested in phones like the G1 with Google, the world's first Android phone with an extensive library of free apps that's way more flexible than any other smartphone on the market.

sorry. customer service is great, but it's one of those things where I don't WANT to be having to call them, so emphasis on the quality of them is silly.

And as for MyFaves, The vast majority of my mphone calling is during my free nights and weekends after 7pm, when it's all free. of my 500 monthly minutes, I think I generally use about half during the day time, when it actually matters.

And all of my texting and data is also free.

Midgard seems like an inappropriate name for an MP3 player, being the world and all. Unless it was really big or something?
I can't tell if you're being ironic, but this isn't what Midgard means.

Also, I still use an 8GB Zen Micro Photo. Soon I'll be Legaccccyyyyyy.

I read it as "the end of the world" instead of "the world", even when I looked at it like twice and I was like, "What an idiot, that's not what that means at all."

    Well who's the idiot now?

Man, Zunes kick ass. If you are an audiophile and like shit that cannot be heard on the radio, the zune is a great way to discover cool fuckers. I'm massively enjoying finding awesome downtempo and other electronic music that isn't all "Yeah! Fucking euro rave!"

I can't say how awesome it is for digging up other kinds of music though.

Btw guys, I got a zune in like, 2006 when they first launched.

I love the fact that they actually stuck with their guns and updated the firmware like they promised. My zune is just as cool and good as the new ones.

Well okay the new ones have a touch pad and are smaller. Still, its better than throwing down another $250 every 2 years.

Compared to what? WMP? It's not that bad. It's kind of quirky, being obviously a Mac port (non standard window buttons and such, sometimes it does weird things like maximizes BEHIND other windows etc). It's really the best program for loading your iPod. I tried the plugin for WinAmp but didn't like it.

The "smart" playlist thing is rad.

foobar2000 is the exact opposite of all of these (although it can take a while to make it pretty, I just like having it really basic and functional with green writing on a black background which a lot of people hate) and this is why I love it

I never noticed it taking up a lot of memory, but then again I have 4 gigs..

As for slow, maybe but then again so is WMP.

As a music player it's got nothing on WinAmp though. But for loading your iPod it works just fine.

I don't listen to music on my computer.

I only use iTunes as a midpoint between whatever format I bought the song in and my horribly cheap yet wonderfully functional mp3 player.

The only thing I hate iTunes for is the copy protection. My player doesn't do m4a, so I have to convert anything off iTunes. Most of it won't let me, though, which makes the whole process of taking a thing I bought and putting it into the box I want to keep it in way longer and more complicated than it has to be.

Has anybody mentioned how awesome the iRiver Clix Gen 2 is yet? It was the highest rated player on CNet for awhile and I think it still might be, I'm too lazy to check. Damn thing is damn near indestructible. I've dropped it probably 5 or 6 times on cold concrete from like 4 or 5 feet up and it still works perfectly. Plus, no apple tax.

EDIT: Also, I hope people realize that awards from companies like JD Power and Associates and pretty much straight up bought by companies. So whoever said that whatever company they worked for had a bunch or whatever...
