    On one hand, it eliminates all the unecessary I voted spam that I fill up every single thread on that forum with. On the other, it also eliminates any chance of anyone but the original reporter from providing context or posting additions. Mm..?

    It occurs to me that if someone wanted to contribute badly enough, they could just report the post for awesome as well, which would let them add context.

    But then some jackasses would probably abuse it to get around the no-posting setup.

    But then they might get infractions.

    So it might work out in the long run.

    Edit: also, yes, there is a disturbing lack of Awesome in those last two additions. Is it true that after a while, non-awesome things get deleted?
