Yeah, USM 129 pretty much occurs right before Ultimatum 1.

By the way, since it's called Ultimatum... shouldn't there have been some kind of... I dunno... ultimatum?

So where have the intervening 3 years or whatever gone? Are we just ignoring that Ultimates 2 happened a year after Ultimates 1?

I don't think Jephy actually knows what Ultimatum means.

I dunno... I don't follow the Ultimates past the trades for 1 and 2. I know the USM timeline just went wonky, with them basically retelling the events of the Ultimate Spider-Man video game, then
having gwen show up when she actually escaped during the Green Goblin fight
so I have no clue what is occurring when.

I'm sort of curious, why did so many of you pick up Ultimatum? Loeb has been a terrible writer for a long time now, and by purchasing his crap you're just encouraging Marvel to put him on more stuff. I mean, it's obviously your money and you're allowed to spend it on whatever you want, but is this a series you really want to support?

Reed really needs to be put on something else, because I can't stand his Ms. Marvel. I thought he was a middling writer, but apparently Ms. Marvel is just not a good match for him.

anywho....MOTW for me, buying every single Hellboy TPB (8) and thinking 'oh ho! tis reading will last me for my entire holidays'....cut to 14 hours later: I'm lying on the floor, there are books everywhere, my brain is engorged with awesome and i'm pretty sure I owe Mignola my first born.

If you want another day of good reading, I highly recommend the Guy Davis-drawn TPBs of "BPRD". The first two volumes aren't bad either (especially the one with Ryan Sook on art), but the Mignola/Arcudi/Davis stuff is fantastic.

And Indiana Jones, for having him rip off a girls shirt. For science.

NA was really good this week. Althought I still hate Tam's Jessica Jones, I mean she would never wear belly shirts, come on man.

Ms Marvel this week was really fun. I am really enjoying Reed's run

Nova was badass and probably my MotW.

Ultimatum was just ok I didn't think it was all horrible, although the stuff with Cap and Thor was not good

    U. Spider-man continues to be awesome. Johnny and Spider-woman was pretty funny.
