Good plan, assuming that all four of those characters are in play. Which they may not be. But that's really a risk the Lovett will have to take if she so desires.
Sounds like a reasonable plan. My vote goes to ventrue, since he is acting rather strange and didn't vote for Brian. I've got plans for the next two days, so i will not be very active.

Ok fine but if you do vote for me spell my name right...there is ni "N" in it!!!
Thank you, acting strange? No, I have been mostly confused since Cj just recently pulled me in...starting in the middle of a game is different. The reason why I voted for Thorgot last night was this; even though He was the Judge, the vigilante, he and his guard and his network, had bad aim. He took out how many good speicals and regulars?
I am a villager, I cannot kill you or see what you do, nor am I part of a network, I have no idea what is going on right now.
Sorry that going with a known person who is killing all the neutrals and good specials was such a bad thing. I was also trying to let Brian stay in a little longer since he is new and people gave me a chance like that when I started.

Because Gumpy was seered and cleared, as per BlueBlue's last remarks. So we gave Gumpy our roles and such (or were supposed to), and he is making an educated decision.
Of course, this is taking the risk that BB was a true seer and not a partial seer in some way. . . but it may be a bit too late for that, I guess.

I was half convinced I'd waken.
Satisified enough to dream.
I feel you, Johanna...
And one day, I'll steal you.
With those words, the last of the romantics met his fate
Cooked to flavor, and into a pie Anthony was baked.
You know what I'd like to do, Mr. Todd?
What I dream
If the business stays as good?
Where I'd really like to go?
In a year or so?
Don't you want to know?
A fantasy desired by one who could do nothing more than dream
The fires of the village drowned out Mrs. Lovett's final screams.
A small footnote, said in epilogue, no less
A certain blade by the name of Pirelli
saw the wrath of a GM made manifest.

I'm surprised there being two vigilantes wasn't picked up on, earlier, what with all the hints in the narrative and results, but ah well.
I experimented with making the mafia a mix of specials instead of them having a set group ability, but that ended pretty quick with Dee Kae's day one death.
yeah, makin' each mafia member be in charge of a power rarely ends up well for the mafia. It's an attractive system, but ultimately cripplin' unless you create some buffers for it, like passin' the powers onto the other mafia, but restrictin' them to only usin' as many powers per member standin'.
I still can't get over the two seer bit, though. That was just weird of you to do, CJ.

Role PMs
Sweeney Todd (Vigilante)
There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
and the vermin of the world inhabit it
and its morals aren't worth what a pin can spit
and it goes by the name of London.
You are The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd.
Your life was ruined by the vile Judge Turpin, and in your quest for revenge,
you will end his.
Until then, you practice your killing arts on the throats of the wicked.
Each night you may make an attempt to kill another player.
Additionally, you are working with Mrs. Lovett and Toby.
The three of you must either eliminate or outnumber the citizens of London for a victory.
Mrs. Lovett (Seer, then vigilante in Mr. T's stead)
You know what I'd like to do, Mr. Todd?
What I dream
If the business stays as good?
Where I'd really like to go,
In a year or so?
Don't you want to know?
You are Mrs. Lovett.
You maintain the (in)famous Meat Pie shop on Fleet Street, and help 'Mr. T' with everything his heart desires: especially disposing of the corpses of his victims, with the price of meat what it is.
Since you run the shop, you have an intimate familiarity with all the patrons.
Each night you can attempt to learn the true identity of a player.
You are also aware that Mr. Todd's former beloved isn't quite as dead as you would like to hope, though you really don't consider that creature a threat, just a nuisance.
Additionally, you are working with Sweeney Todd and Toby.
The three of you must either eliminate or outnumber the citizens of London for a victory.
Toby (Guardian)
No one's gonna hurt you, no one's gonna dare
Others can desert you,
Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there!
Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while
But in time...
Nothing can harm you
Not while I'm around...
You are Toby, former 'associate' of Adolfo Pirelli.
You were taken in by Mrs. Lovett, and strive to protect her from the evils of the world.
If this means you have to help her and that deranged barber kill all the citzens in London, so be it.
Each night you may guard a player from harm.
Additionally, you are working with Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett.
The three of you must either eliminate or outnumber the citizens of London for a victory.
Judge Turpin (Vigilante)
Ah! Pretty women, at their mirrors,
In their gardens,
Letter-writing,
Flower-picking,
Weather-watching.
How they make a man sing!
You are Judge Turpin, one of the most feared dispensers of justice in all of London.
The innocent and guilty alike fear your judgment, but above all, you seek to earn the heart of your beloved ward, Johanna. However, she has once again evaded your reach.
Perhaps if you can't win her heart, no one should.
Your command over the legal system allows you to attempt to kill another player each night.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Beadle Bamford (Seer)
Forgive me if I suggest, my lord, you're looking less than your best, my lord.
Fret not though, my lord, I know a place, my lord
With a barber, my lord, of skill
Thus armed with shaven face, my lord
And some eau de cologne to grace, my lord
You'll dazzle the girl, until
She bows to your every will.
You are Beadle Bamford, the assistant to the honorable Judge Turpin, and your prowess with a cane makes you almost as feared as he.
You strive to project your lord from any harm that may come to him. You are also adept at the gathering of information.
Each night you can attempt to learn the true identity of a player.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Adolfo Pirelli (Vigilante)
To cut-a da hair,
To trim-a da beard,
To make-a da bristle
Clean like a whistle,
Dis is from early infancy
Da talent give to me
By God!
You are known to most as Adolfo Pirelli, barber extraordinaire.
In actuality, you are David Conner, a conman of extensive talents.
Your talent with a razor is second only to that wretch, Benjamin Barker.
Your assistant has again eluded you, but it matters not; you'll end his life as easily as anyone else's if he gets in your way.
Each night you may make an attempt to kill another player.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Miserable Woman (Lucy) (Seer)
Alms, alms for a pitiful woman...
On a miserable mornin'...
Hey! Don't I know you, mister?
You are the 'miserable woman', aka Lucy. Many years ago, your beloved Benjamin Barker was stolen from your life, and then Judge Turpin proceeded to ruin yours.
The poison you used on yourself did not end your life, but instead drove you mad.
Through your madness, you sense the evil in the air. The city is on fire.
You must stop the flames.
Each night you can attempt to learn the true identity of a player.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Johanna (Not-sure-what-the-word-for-this-role-is)
Green finch, and linnet bird,
Nightingale, blackbird,
How is it you sing?
How can you jubilate
sitting in cages
never taking wing?
You are Johanna, daughter of Benjamin Barker, and current ward to Judge Turpin.
You have evaded the Judge's reach, and now seek only to survive, and escape to safety with your beloved Anthony, whereever he is.
You are also adept at hiding your identity from others.
If someone attempts to learn your role, they will see only want they want to see.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Anthony (Guardian)
I feel you, Johanna
And one day, I'll steal you!
Do they think that walls can hide you?
Even now I'm at your window...
I am in the dark beside you,
buried sweetly in your yellow hair...
You are Anthony, a sailor who has come to London with Benjamin Barker, and discovered true love. You seek to escape with Johanna to a better life, but first, you must find her.
And before you can steal her, you must save her.
Each night you may guard a player from harm.
Perhaps if you discover Johanna, the nightmare will end.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Villager
You are a London Villager, who has come to the grand opening of Mrs. Lovett's meat pies.
However, something is amiss.
You came to eat dinner, not to become it.
Assist the other villagers in voting to discover the killers in your midst, or else a fiery fate awaits you.
You must survive to earn a victory, and see those who wish to bring you harm brought to justice, or better yet, death.
Turned out to be not as broken as I feared and went fairly well, despite the small lapse from the forum move, so thanks to all for contributing.
Also, each of the mafia had the small 'benefit' of knowing that another role was in play.
I'm not sure if they had the opportunity to break into the network by pretending to be a good seer or anything like that, but the possibility was there.

Yes I got that kill on you Ahava, I found out the second night and since I was dead I would kill the last good in the town. I only got that kill when My beloved was brutally killed...sniff...
I was telling the truth when i was extremly confused coming in with One bad dead and other on the block. It was a fun game though.

Hmm. Before I answer! I would like to know why it is important.
Everybody else has answered it. Just tell me.
You are very lucky you have the power of killing or I would not be taking your sass, young man! My role is Lucy. It is my hope that secretly you do not have to kill me and that is the reason you are asking and don't want to say. Turpin doesn't kill Lucy in the movie!
nah, it's just that there's another guy claiming to be the seer
so here's the conundrum. by revealing both of you, we would be guaranteed to trade a seer for a mafia.
what do you think of that deal?
Haha, part of my victory description is that i have to, uh, stay alive. Rather than reveal both of us, my suggestion is to use your power to kill both of us. Worst case, this will amount to the same thing but keep the seer secret. Best case you kill the mafia member on the first shot. I also suggest you start with the other guy
So who does the other guy say he is? If not Lucy as well, are two seers possible?
So good job Darian on removing the true threat to the village.
thorgot! I trusted and publicly defended you so hard. My disgust is full spectrum.
It felt too powerful for the village to have two aligned vigs in such a small phalla, so I was guessing the Judge had some sort of lone wolf thing going on. Guess I was wrong there. Sorry, thorgot!

I loved watching this phalla but I don't think it was balanced at all. The only advantage that the bad guys had over the good were they were networked, they were out killed (3 to 1), heavily outnumbered by specials (2 seers? Really?) and rather light in percentage of the population as well. This is ignoring Johanna which would essentially end the game if she was seered by Mrs Lovett.
