So I've got CS4 running on Windows 7 now. I just wish that Windows 7 supported the old Wacom drivers for Vista. Seems that my pressure sensitivity isn't working and probably won't be working for a while.
I think they're talking third quarter of this year. The beta is supposed to be released sometime this month. I downloaded the leaked version from a torrent. It's pretty nice. I like it more than Vista for sure. Still a few kinks here and there that need to be knocked out but I think it's an overall better product than they have been pushing on us for the passed couple of years.
ITs very loud. I think his room is like a music hall because it projects the sound through out the entire house. Its rather impressive how clearly I can hear her moaning/talking.
This happens everyday. 3 or 4 times a day. Im tired of it.
Go peak your head in there and say "C-c-can I have some".

Ya I really have high hopes for windows 7. I hate vista with a passion and will never use it, but I'm tired of XP, it's just too old at this point. I really hope they make it as small, efficient, and non-bloated as possible. The best program philosophy IMO, let the user expand on what he needs, don't give him a shitton of stuff "just in case."
.. After that earlier post where I was complaining about hearing my roomate fucking. My immaturity got the better of me and I found a noisy 5 second porn clip and set it on loop and maxed my volume out. Left it looping for about 2 hours while I went into another room and put head phones on.
Apparently they thought I was beating off the entire time and were scared to say anything. After she left he apologized about how loud she is..
God dammit, I hate Detroit so much. Detroit and Toledo, Ohio should be carpet bombed until nothing but ashes remain. Fire is the only thing that can redeem that land.
I imagine Michigan and California are very different places.
Well, people like to make a big deal about the differences between the two but really when you get down to it they're pretty simil...people here think 50 degrees is freezing and people drive foreign cars and you get mocked if you bring up "pop" or "expressways" or the letter E as a report card grade it's so crazy and weird and people have these things called "jobs" and there are Mexican restaurants that aren't Taco Bell ahhhhhh is your mind blown yet?!?!?!
Wait where do you live Tam that you've heard of Toledo before? I thought that was one of those cities that nobody outside the Midwest had ever heard of, like Canton, OH or Port Huron, MI.

My family went on a "Let's Meet Obscure Relatives" road trip all over the States a few years ago. I smelled Toledo coming before we even got there. Then we went to Detroit. Both those cities were so totally devoid of vibrance and vitality and were such cesspits of crime and savagery that I swore I'd never return without body armor, a hazmat suit, and a fully equipped urban assault vehicle.
Haha, it was 14 degrees here yesterday. Every time someone says soda, you should glare at them and correct them with: "It's pop". Ask for Vernors every time you go to a restaurant, and act outraged when they don't have it. Also, don't forget to ramble on and on about your cabin up north.
P.S. Tam you'd like Flint. Drop by there sometime. Preferably the day before Halloween. At night.
Well, what did you expect, Detroit is a city that actually requires RoboCop to function properly.
Also I suggest you avoid Flint and Gary, IN then- I've only driven past Gary on the way to Chicago, but man. It's like they found a way to solidify the depression being released from the populace's bodies, and then built a city out of it.
EDIT: Ah, the UP. On one of my parent's many, many forced car meanders while vacationing "up north" as a child, we went across the bridge and drove around for a few hours, and I think everyone was pretty much thinking "why the hell did we come up here?" but nobody wanted to admit it.

Are you talking about the thing where savages go around setting light to people's houses?
@Bacon- Yeah, I've been warned about Gary many a time. I'll never set foot in that city intentionally.
Hahah, yeah the art fair rocks. Wyandotte is one of the shitty shit suburbs on the Detroit river. Near Grosse Ile. I just tell people I'm from Dearborn. I usually end up holding my palm up and pointing out where I am from on it.
I don't live in Michigan anymore, tho.
Also, screw Vernors. Gimme Faygo Redpop, Bettermaid potato chips, and Muskrat dinners, and its doorwall people, get it right.

Yeah, pretty much. Dumb Assholes. I'm kind of surprised I'm considering going to college in Flint.
Man if I get shit about saying "expressway" I cannot imagine the potential social shame of being caught calling a sliding glass door a "doorwall".
Also, why would you go to college in Flint?!
Money. It costs next to no money. I got accepted to UM Ann Arbor, and Ann Arbor is a pretty cool city, but it costs money, and the snootiness and ultra-liberal slant kind of puts me off. I should probably apply to more small colleges.
Nobody in California uses the term expressway (and possible freeway as well) apparently, and when I did a friend of mine mocked the term in old-timey "world of tomorrow" voice.
"You see this is an expressway, so-called because it's more express than other ways. Our top engineers reckon that one day they'll be able to make a model T go up to 45 miles per hour on one of these!"

It is possible for things to be very cheap yet at the same time not be a "great deal".

That's true. I've put some thought into it though, and I'm probably going to go to a smaller college, possibly U of M Flint. I've heard nothing but good things about the professors there, and the small class sizes will help with my partial deafness. I'm still considering where to go though, and I might throw in a few last minute applications.

Oh man Bacon, I get so pissed at Watts sometimes. We will be sitting in a painting class and it will be like 70 and some lady will complain that it is too cold. So they turn on the heaters... And I, being about 50lbs overweight, am already sweating.

I'm actually disappointed that I didn't get to stay longer. I didn't want go back!

You sure complain about Canada a lot.

Gonna eat me some Cakemikz art brains.

And inside.
So that's only two ways that they're different.
You serious?
Most of the time I bitch about living in Texas.

Well, really Southgate.
I hate going back to Michigan, besides for my family. Everything south of the Mackinack bridge is depressing.
Hell, even the UP is depressing, but at least they have the wilderness going for them.

I think you should crush them.

Wait, people other than my mother pronounce it that way? I thought that was just some residual hickness from her parents who came from down south.
EDIT: I don't know what doorwall is either.
Twitter
Yeah, my entire extended family, including my mom and dad call it that, at least they used to anyways, but it ended when we moved to Chicago.
Luckily I pronounce everything like a normal Mid-westerner now.
