hey guys i'm thinking about starting a Call of Cthulhu campaign!

don't worry if you were in my old D&D campaign that died, i blame that on Blank

or that SotC campaign that never got off the ground, that actually was Blank's fault

    My computer is a damn fossil.

    It takes at least 10 minutes for reader to start up and then another 10 for it to load and hurrrrrgh

    Does this game use it's own odd set of rules? At first it seemed to resemble Unisystem, but upon further examination it seems to be in a league entirely of its own.

    It's pretty simple.

    You have 50% in a skill.

    Roll percentile dice (two ten siders).

    If you get under 50% you succeed.

    Seems odd that a game system that relies heavily on skills in gameplay to base the skill points entirely on one attribute.

    My mistake, I didn't read thoroughly enough.

    Maybe I'll try and get my group to run a game of CoC sometime, but we're already in the middle of playing Aberrant, and plan to move to Hunter immediately thereafter. Also I'm the only who reads Lovecraft.
