    Yeah, but my desktop monitor is actually calibrated. In anycase I've gone over and painted out the texture.

    Woah.

    edit: only thing i'd maybe suggest is to lower the contrast on the background because it does sort of interfere with the other shapes. Lighten it all up a little to make it feel hazy/atmospheric, like the rest of the thing... The pure black is a little confusing to my eye?

    actually yes, this

    the background needs to be lower contrast, fuzzier and greyer to make it seem distant - it currently looks too close

    Hm, a lesson for next time I guess. Not really feeling the urge to revisit the piece at the moment. :D

    Also I'm not sure how this is going to fit on a desktop, unless you're one of those wierdos with portrait monitor orientations.
