I loved the 'music video' they made to accompany it. Everything from the glowsticks to him wearing terrifying black-light reactive makeup was brilliant.

    Yeah.

Yes, it was a live episode, which was also done with the Daily Show (and at the end, Stewart commented that he was looking forward to being taped in advance again, so he could swear).

Also, the screencap really doesn't do justice to just how horrifying the snot was.

I hope someone finds me a clip from TDS about a cock fighting operation that was busted up in New York as part of one of the largest sting operations ever--cut to clip of animated Coronal Sanders in animated form jumping and yelling Booya as a cop grabs a chicken

Honestly, I think the US needs tighter regulations for what a channel can and can not do if they want to be able to call themselves a news network.
For example, if Fox continues making shit up to slander people, maybe they shouldn't be able to call themselves a news station.

That's a pretty horrible idea. You don't answer bullshit with censorship, you answer it with more words pointing out just how much bullshit it is.

I'm pretty sure that is something all these wacko right-wing talk show radio hosts have been saying will happen is just that when Obama came into office, he'd start censorship laws on their precious crazy talk.

The best thing Obama can do to combat these idiots is to prove them wrong. Sure, they'll still call him OMG SOCIALIST, but they'll look like bigger fools to more and more people.

To be fair to his admittedly horrible idea that just creates a screeching contest to see who can get through to the people, and it seems far too much of the time the tabloid types like FNC are the winners.

Well, there could be regulations aimed at the question mark headlines and editorial-as-news problem by mandating a certain percentage of content meets industry (there must be some sort of reporter's version of the bar association) standards, the first item on the list being that the header and sub-header be statements.

I wasn't suggesting censorship. They could still have a network with all the same content. They just couldn't call it a news network if it had that much bullshit.

    Reading comprehension ftw.

It wouldn't just be regarding Fox News. All news networks could be held to a certain set of standards.
