Is Peter the most retarded guy ever? HOW DO YOU LEAVE A GIRL LIKE KITTY?
When you get to rebound with a smokin' hot redhead.
I think when Kitty asked forXavier to tamper with May's mind might be a point of argument. Also, maybe this is a setup for an Ultimate "Xavier is a jerk!" Except it is Kitty who is actually a jerk.

I'd love to pick of the new Shazam mini-series, but fuck $6 a piece
52 was enjoyable, although it was just a fight scene and then "Oh hey, Black Adam's part of 52, too!"
Action Comics Annual sucked. Not a single story was anything new. It was, "How to kill Superman" (takes four pages), "The origin of Lar Gand/Mon-El" (taking 14 pages), "Oh hey, Bizarro Earth is square." (taking up two pages), "Just what exactly is in the Fortress of Solitude" (taking up a two page spread), "General Zod got put in the Phantom Zone, didn't you know" (taking up 12 pages), "Superman's Top 10 Enemies according to Richard Donner who puts Zod and those two other people on the list and not motherfucking Darkseid", taking up two pages, and "What Different colors of Kryptonite do" taking up three pages
I guess the "big thing" was at the end of the "Kryptonite Rainbow" part. Although I did enjoy the Mon-El story a little bit simply because Eric Wight's art is pretty much Darwyn Cooke's.
Detective Comics was all right. Not bad but not terrific either. Dini needs to right a Riddler on-going, but it'd probably be humorous so we can't have that.
Nightwing is got a lot better. Although you wouldn't know that Dick was trained by Batman the way he's been getting the shit beaten out of him by every fucking guy he fights. Also, Jamal Igle can't draw Bruce or Dick without masks correctly. Or Alfred at all.
52- Wooo, fight. Wooo, Steel. The writing was okay, but nothing special, and the way Everyman was dealt with was cartoonishly stupid. It was cool to see they addressed the hand Steel lost fighting the General though. The art was kind of so-so. One thing that bothered me was how the artist drew Steel's armor, making it basically look painted on as it perfectly responded to facial movements and muscle contours. C+
The Irredeemable Ant-Man- Pretty good issue. Ant-Man's still on the lam from SHIELD, with his old poker buddy Mitch using a crappier version of the Ant-Man suit to hunt him down. Ant-Man's also still a dick, blowing off his dead best friend's ex-girlfriend, who he had a one night stand with after emotionally manipulating her. Still, you can't help but like the douchebag. Phil Hester delivers his usual great work, working with both small and large panels to deliver a whole lot of story in just 22 pages. B+
Meltdown- This came out a few weeks ago from Image, but I had put off buying it since it was a prestige format two parter, with each book costing $5.99. But since this was a small week I picked up the first part, and it didn't disappoint. It's the story of a superhero, the Flare, whose pyrokinetic powers have grown wildly out of control and ruining his life. They've cost him his job, robbed him of the ability to have children with his wife, and have begun to slowly consume him, literally burning him from the inside out.
Knowing his death is imminent, and having his mood altered due to uncontrollable periods of rage and insanity, he's dedicated what little time he has left to tracking down and murdering his old archenemies. It's a very interesting story, showing how even an ordinary guy's life can fall into utter shit bit by bit. The art's also pretty interesting, with one artist changing styles from a more retro, clean style for scenes set in the more optimistic past, and a grittier, darker style for scenes set in the present. Definitely reccomended. A
there's no reason the three Phantom Zone prisoners should've taken up any spots on the Top 10 Enemies list, let alone spots 3-5
where the fuck is Darkseid
Ok, thats your opinion. I on the otherhand enjoyed it, so don't give me any of that "you would" shit. I know it's odd, Im such a fucking rarity. Imagine that, a guy who goes into a comic book store, buys a comic, goes home and reads it. Then afterwards, doesn't take down every little fucking problem he has with it, and then try to push it off as fact.

It is fact that Darkseid is cooler than the Phantom Club combined
They only mentioned the Phantom Trio because they're probably due for a story arc any month now. Gotta remind people that these characters exist, and all.
That or they wanted to limit themselves to villains who are Superman exclusive (hence Toyman).

Yeah, they're bringing them back, but they could've just put them in one space.

I said I liked every book I picked up but AC

Motherfucking Darkseid
I can't imagine it'd be easy to reconcile all the not-fully explained weirdness of Seven Soldiers with the more straightforward Superman mythos.
I mean, Metron's back to his usual eyebrow-y self
Or was it off-screen?
I think it happened at the end of the Mister Miracle mini series, and end result of some sort. I don't know, I haven't read it since 7S #1 came out.
Meh, Im wrong, nevermind.

Yes, but he hates Superman so much that he won't kill him with his Omega Effect. He wants to personally beat the shit out of him.
Besides, he can take anyone on that list with no trouble.
The Presence wins.

There was also the question of whether it was a symbolic encounter with the New New Gods or reality.
