But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?

(in this thread we will communicate solely through iambic pentameter, as in the works of The Bard. each line of your post should contain ten syllables, alternating unstressed/stressed-- da DA da DA da DA da DA da DA. it's harder than it sounds at first)

I thought to make a thread where we could talk
as if we lived four hundred years ago.
Perhaps the lot of you will join with me
and speak in iambs, for to have some laughs!

He did not test his post before he clicked!
His syllables, they do not add to ten!

Hey K I know this isn't written in iambic pentameter but did you know I once ran a Phalla where all narration dialogue was written in iambic pentameter?

Well, I tired to write in iambic pentameter, at least.

    It's true, I am a sweaty nerd.
I make my posts within a basement deep
beneath the house owned in my parents' name.
    I roll d20 every time I fear
a chance of failure possibly exists.

Then lock this thread if it perturbs you so.
I still submit that it is worth your time.
You've suffered threads for "three word internets"
and so I feel that you can suffer this.

what did bring forth this idea of yours?
It is interesting, I must admit.

Shakespeare himself was an enormous dick.
He plaigarized others to write his plays.
Yet we see fit to glorify his work,
while the ones who wrote it are forgotten.

Each new work of lit'rature is built upon
Its ancestors; 'Twould be bootless if one
Discarded all Shakespeare's works as copied,
The sources themselves plagiarized as well.
