Evil Total: 180 (100)
Evil Leader: The Veil Children - 80
- The Arcadian Wrestling Revolution gave another amazing, if somewhat mind-boggling, performance this week as they removed dozens of crates worth of high-explosive ammunition off the streets and returned them to Tracer Industrial...
- Mayor Helms announced a new crackdown yesterday on illegal gun sales, saying many shops are not doing required background checks in exchange for bribes...
Secret Shopper (Violence):
Good Mission: These shops need to be shut down, and hard, before they flood the streets with weapons. There've been reports of a particularly bad violator in Central Square that would make an excellent example.
Reward: 80 Points
Evil Mission: A shop that can count on you for protection could be sure to provide exceptional merchandise at even more exceptional prices.
Reward: Territory - Lou's Guns & Pawn, Central Square(Evil, +1 Violence)
- Federal authoritities are excited about the construction of a new 'X-Ray Dock' nearing completetion in Bluewaters Docks. The new equipment will allow for much faster examining of suspicious cargo, increasing the number of shipments than can be searched...
I See What You Did There (Smuggling):
Good Mission: These machines can catch almost anything, but they'll need to be intact for you to make any use of them. Make sure the installation goes smoothly.
Reward: Territory - 'X-Ray Dock', Bluewaters Docks (Good, +1 Smuggling)
Evil Mission: Bluewaters is tough enough to use at it is. Better that these machines be destroyed...or even better, diverted and sold on the black market in China.
Reward: 80 Points
- GarageSale.com went down for several hours yesterday and had much of its sensitive data stolen, at least according to the message that took its place. It was signed by an individual going by the name "Pack Rat"...
Pack Rat (Electronic):
Good Mission: Does this guy think this sort of thing is funny? Hacking just isn't cool, and hard time in prison would teach this punk a lesson.
Reward: 80 Points
Evil Mission: This "Pack Rat"'s name has been coming up a lot lately. Maybe it'd be worth your while tracking him down and adding him to your payroll.
Reward: +1 Electronic
- Investigations are continuing into reports of a "black market porn" industry. An unidentified source said there have been increasing cases of "black markets selling pornography involving rape, beastality, and if you can believe it, worse"...
Rub One Out (Sexual):
Good Mission: Pornographers aren't just in it for the gratification - they need money, too. There's a source willing to talk on where and how the videos get moved, but he'll need safety.
Reward: +1 Sexual
Evil Mission: A source!? Maybe he's in your organization, maybe not, but if he can hurt your ability to get product to customers, he needs to be shut up.
Reward: 80 points
- Anarchist Harry "Hairy" Temson was killed last Wednesday, when he opened one of his own letter bombs that had been returned to him due to insufficient postage...
Blew Up The Bucket (Anarchy):
Good Mission: Hairy was said to have left behind a large stash of hidden explosives. They need to be found and disposed of before something goes wrong.
Reward: 50 points
Evil Mission: Old Hairy was a genius bombmaker and a complete idiot at everything else. Still, if you can get your hands on his stash, it'll be a hot time in the old town tonight.
Reward: 50 points.
After stumbling upon this game last night, I've decided to throw my hat into the ring.
Name/Description:
The Diamond Dogs
The newest member of the musically-themed VVN (Vinyl Vigilante Network) crime-fighting organization, the Diamond Dogs set up shop in Arcadia as a response to the chaos breaking out over the last couple of weeks. Funded by an anonymous organization, the Dogs have two objectives: 1) reduce criminal activity in the area as much as possible and by any means necessary; 2) prevent efforts to undermine the economic systems of the area.
Their members are few, and their abilities untested, but the Diamond Dogs shouldn't be taken lightly. Keep a friend serene, because here they come.
Just thought I'd remind people that now that there's points to be stolen and territory to blow up, it might be worthwhile to try direct attacks if there's no events you want to try for.
Regarding the map, what are the symbols that represent each vice in a territory? Like, is the little dollar sign in an area representing corporate or corruption? That sort of thing.
You suck. <
So Orchid of Black Alley Studios orders one of her cronies to frame one of your people for possession of the tape procured in the first event. http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=881331
Hells no. That would totally screw up the game. People would just wait until their competition had rolled and if -- as in this case -- their competition was unbeatable, they'd launch an attack.
This would mean that whoever got their turn in first would have to win two rolls to really win an event. They'd have to win roll 1 in order to get the prize, and then roll 2 in order to defend it.
People who got their rolls in late could survey the situation and launch attack rolls against people who seemed to be in unassailable positions -- essentially penalizing people for getting good rolls initially.
Attacks can take unconfirmed points (just in case anyone gets the idea of waiting to do their IC posts in order to keep points locked up), but no taking from future turns.
Here's the full rankings, which I'll post with turns from here on.

Nah, you're absolutely right, I was just trying to avoid missing out on a roll because I hadn't considered that (and thus wasted my turn entirely).
Scoots saids I could retarget it though just for this turn because I am dumb and he loves me and we will all learn from my mistake but.
I won't, because that would be a dick move and also because there's no one I can justify IC attacking.
I'll IC the whole framing your dudes thing anyway, because I won the roll, but it just won't effect the game.
10 for secret shopper. Guess the AWR spent too long in makeup or something. I'll do the IC post for the previous round tomorrow after I've had some sleep.

Fair enough. I'm going to IC it too. If you're looking to put the tape in someone specific's hands, (as opposed to just mailing it to the PTA in general) you can target Michel Froucher, if you'd like. I'll then deal with him in a nicely public manner.
If not, do whatever you'd like and I'll react appropriately.

Woo, an 8. Oh yeah, I'm sure those hackers are quaking in their boots now! :P
I'll make my IC post tomorrow. Feeling a bit run down today... (which probably explains the roll of 1)
Edit: Oh, forgot to mention - this would be a corporate attack I attempted. I guess my boys are investigating finances? Whatever, I'll think of something.
Planning to do the turn tomorrow night, giving it the full 5 days since not everyone may have been aware the forums went back up. Still lacking IC posts for last week's winners.
Edit: I've added short NPC bios to the wiki, as well as a sneak peek at the next events.

Corporate attack on Black Mask from Arcadia Watchdog - 60 Points for Watchdog
Sexual attack on PTA by Black Alley Studios - 0 Points for Black Alley Studios
Still waiting on IC posts from last turn (which is why NIGHTCRAWLER is still unmarked on the map, putting x-Ray Dock up early was a mistake but I don't feel like loading Photoshop back up), so don't be letting these stack up on you. Also, for attacks; my current policy on unrolled defense is this: If the attack is declared more than 24 hours before the turn, your defense will be your base stat. If it is less than 24 hours, I will roll your defense, if only to keep anyone from doing their attacks when it's no longer possible to react.

The diamond dogs are poachers and they hide behind trees
Hunt you to the ground they will, mannequins with kill appeal.
Or so I hear.
