President Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) must choose:
A) -2 Food. OR -1 Food. Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) discards 2 Skill Cards, then William Adama (Rend) discards 3 Skill Cards.
Problems with maintaining food rationing continue to hound the fleet, and the President and Admiral work hard to minimize the loss.
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
No Basestars or Raiders to activate.
Jump Preparation advances to Level 5 - Jump Available with some risk. Turn 22: Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian)
Receive Skills Step: Darian draws 1 Tactics, 2 Piloting, 1 Leadership, and 1 Politics card.
Characters: Admiral William Adama (Rend) - Weapons Control, 5 cards in hand.
Lee "Apollo" Adama (Darian) - Command, 8 cards in hand.
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (abotkin) - Armory, 4 cards in hand.
Gaius Baltar (Maddoc) - Press Room, 8 cards in hand. President Tom Zarek (DevoutlyApathetic) - President's Office, 3 cards in hand.
Well, it's quiet at the moment so it seems like a good time to stock up on cards. I'll play Politics 1 to Consolidate power, drawing a Politics and a Tactics.
Movement Step: Remain in Command. Action Step: Play Politics 1 to Consolidate Power, drawing 1 card from each of the Politics and Tactics decks.
Crisis Step: Cylon Tracking Device
Skill Check [10] Tactics + Piloting + Engineering
Pass: No Effect.
Fail: Destroy 1 raptor and place a Basestar in front of Galactica and two civilian ships behind it.

I'm afraid what very little aid I could have offered was hampered by our previous food shortage. That said, failure here is meaningless at best and of negligible threat at worst.
It may be worth saving the skill cards, since we can simply jump away.
And with scout launching shenanigans like what we've had, we could definitely use it if we saved it. However, I'm not going to be able to give much. I think we should go for it, but I will be contributing only moderately.

Scouting: 7 > 3, Pass.
Kara Thrace looks at the top card of the Destination deck and can decide to put it on the top or bottom of the deck.
People, this potential terrorist ship hurtling at high speed towards our fleet is a clear and present danger. I suggest we form an Investigative Committee to deal with the situation.
Yea, contingent orders for that is tough. Granted, the -2 resource one with a middling DC is a solid candidate I think. Easy to over/undershoot and I don't want any "whoops" cards to be slipped into it by baddies.
The Olympic Carrier disappears for a time after a mysterious unexpected jump, then returns just as mysteriously. After careful consideration, the ship is cleared of any potential Cylon sabotage.
After Crisis: Activate Heavy Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
No Basestars or Heavy Raiders to activate.
Jump Preparation advances to Auto Jump - The fleet is on its way to its next destination...
Fleet Jump Step: Admiral William Adama (Rend) selects Asteroid Field - Distance +3; Lose 2 Fuel. Then draw 1 civilian ship and destroy it (lose the resources on the back).
A civilian ship is drawn, -1 Population and -1 Fuel. Turn 24: Gaius Baltar (Maddoc)
Receive Skills Step: Maddoc draws 2 Politics, 1 Leadership, and 1 Engineering card.

Now that we have made it this far, I think it's time to fire up the Cylon Detector.
My immediate instinct is to test our Admiral. Any opinions or advice to the contrary?
Not enough time has passed since the cylon flu started to really get a grip on who is acting oddly so pick whoever. Admiral is a decent choice since the whole destination thing is pretty strong.

It's still only a moderate amount, however, so I wouldn't worry about overshooting this one too much on my account.

Play Politics 3 for it's ability.
