So... any speculation on what they're gonna do to the talent trees since Blessing of Kings is gonna be trainable now?

Blessing of Pings: Lowers ping by 5% (1/5)

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
* The duration on all Seals has been increased to 30 minutes and can no longer dispelled.
* Divine Plea: The amount healed by your spells is reduced by 50% (up from 20%) but the effect can no longer be dispelled.
* Sanctified Seals: This talent no longer affects dispel resistance, but continues to affect crit chance.
Hmm, interesting that divine plea can't be dispelled now, though it is going to make it interesting trying to solo some content with the healing nerf hitting SoL and JoL.

The seals changes are interesting though.
They've said that everyones regen (except shammies, if I recall correctly) is too high, it's just that the DP change is alot more simple (to combat us all just stacking +int) than changing the spirit based regen system.

It's also looking like it might become Prot's primary form of mana regen if the Guarded by the Light change happens and they are serious about screwing around with SA.
Yeah, that's kind of cruddy unless you're in a fight where you'd be switching a lot. Maybe they'll up it to 5%

Sanctified Seals needs something to replace the dispel resistance.
Otherwise it's just 3% crit in a different spot of the tree.

Won Ruthlessness this week and now I'm being asked to go holy again.
I cannot wait until Dual Specs.
I currently have a +24 AP bracer enchant, but was thinking of changing it up to the expertise enchant for Naxx this week. Will I really see THAT much difference? My current expertise is... 4? I don't know of the exact number... Armory is blocked at work, but if anyone is really that curious, look up Arcadain on Silver Hand.
Thanks!

If you're not dodge-capped, Expertise is a pretty great stat.
As I recall from Redcape's numbers on the Elitist Jerk forums, the AP enchant is better than the Expertise enchant from a statistical DPS point of view. With Expertise you'll have fewer dodged attacks, which on a given fight might result in more damage done, but over time AP will come out ahead.
Stupied question time before I run off to modify my spec. Conviction and Sanctified Seals (ret tree) increase crit of all spells and attacks. Did I skip the bolded part in my brain before? Seems like the crit-whore within me would've caught that and looked to fit it into a holy build before.

There are basically two holy builds at the moment.
51/5/15 that goes down to Conviction in Ret and picks up Kings.
And 51/0/18 + 2 free points, which picks up Sanctified Seals. The two free points are USUALLY put into Pursuit of Justice as it is pretty useful for a lot of the current fights.
With Kings becoming baseline for all paladins with 3.1 or 3.09, we'll be seeing the second spec almost exclusively.

Thanks Dhalph, exactly what I was looking for. Anyone know the speed difference between PoJ and runspeed to boots enchants?

I'm actually the Sanctuary bitch for our raid most of the time, so I end up going Holy/Prot. Getting sanctuary sacrifices Beacon, but you don't have to lose Beacon to get Divine Guardian, which is a powerful raid talent. It's not as critful as Holy/Ret, but a Prot minor shouldn't be ignored.
30min Seals today: Gotta' love a "lazy man" buff. Didn't really expect that to happen, but can't really complain. Doesn't seem like a real "DPS" boost for our Ret Pallies in the bunch. Average 4-6min fight seems to only be saving in the range of 1000-1500 mana. Should be a nice lil boost, but don't really think the "buff" can be allocated to that.
50% MS effect back on Divine Plea: Apparently, we're healing too well in Arenas.... Apparently, we're the only healers that seem to be really effective in Arenas atm... Apparently, we don't "run out of mana" in the Arenas... Dunno' too much about this.. Doesn't seem to really effect the "top end" Holy Paladins. We're already in an endless Holy Light loop as it is.. all this will do is cut down on some of our Overhealing. Dunno' what Blizzard's ideas behind this were, considering burst in PvP is currently one of the biggest issues there is.. Nerf.. the.. heals??
P.S: Where the hell is my baseline Blessing of Kings, dammit? I want my 4 talent points back + a freebie and/or want to see what the hell is going in it's place..
I wish they would make separate rule-sets for PvP and get it over with. I'm sick of the nerf bat hitting good PvE classes for the sake of some PvP bullshit.

My understanding to the Seal changes is that it actually is a pvp nerf. As of right now Seals are used as a 'Dispel buffer' because you can get the chance to not be dispelled very high without hitting 100%. This means that it will get dispelled/spell stolen over your blessings or other buffs. Now that its 30 min and can't be dispelled it will be overlooked by spell-steal/dispel abilities. The 30m Duration was more of a little perk to make rebuffing less tedious/frequent.
I love the new seal change. I didn't even think about it last night but not only is it going to be so much fucking easier to track my seal/blessing uptime, but it free's up a keybinding for me. I can now put my seals on a completely seperate bar since I only need to active them once every 30 minutes.

Indeed, I spent most of my raid last night trying to figure out which ability I wanted to swap into my Martyr keybinding today. No more refreshing the seal in the middle of dps and more open keybindings !

Because, apparently in the new patch changes listed, ShoR and AS get a 3s silence attached? Although that could be total balls
Yes, the damage benefit from Shield of the Templar has been baked in and AS and ShoR get a silence.
Do they hate downranking that much?
seems kind of odd that it'd be such a mandatory silence...
/cry
Blizzard deliberately removed downranking as a viable way of healing in this expansion.

I would expect BoSanct to change.

The patch notes page still shows 3.0.8, and I can't find the test realm forums.
they're from developers or CMs posting in the wow forums, sites like mmo-champion and worldofraids will post them when they pop up in the forums
Otherwise it's just 3% crit in a different spot of the tree.

Offhand the only fights I switch seals on as Ret are Loatheb and Gluth. As prot or holy I pretty much never switch.
Yeah, pretty much Prot will only ever use SoV/SoCor (if horde), and Holy will either have Glyph of Seal of Light or Glyph of Seal of Wisdom, not both.
of course I use neither because I love Glyph of LoH, Holy Light, and the FoL glyph too much.

PoJ is 15%, I think runspeed is like 8%.
