@pious: I still think you should have went with my suggestion, but I do like the floor graphics and the skull looks pretty good. The body perspective problems still remain in my eyes though.
@obilex: Toji beat me to the punch, but ya, that looks pretty muddy, could use some colors in the skin to liven it up, but don't ask me beyond that.
@grifter: I haven't really liked any version of that logo. =(
I don't think it's recognizable enough. At the very least it should take a few moments to register, then once it has popped in your mind you should see it almot instantly from then on. Every time I look at it, I have to struggle and go letter by letter, and it's still at the end like "ok well I guess I can find all the letters with some effort." I think 2-3 seconds for recognition is about the tops you want to aim for, after that it just becomes frustrating, and currently, at least for me, it's around 15-20 seconds.
I agree with NAC about the guy's head, Gibs, but that game is lookin' awesome.

Another worksheet doodle. I know I'm spending far too much time on these, but that's what happens when you tell an ADHD perfectionist to put a couple of drawings in a worksheet.
EDIT: I guess it could stand to be a teeny bit bigger...
That's wicked Bog. My contribution for the day. Igor, or "Iggy" as his friends call him. Part of a story I'm writing that's like a childrens book but isn't.

Thanks Myk, I love seeing your stuff come to life. Sadly line art is pretty much all I'm good at! I'm trying to foray into digital painting, bought a book and everything, but it's very different from traditional painting. I just have trouble layering colors in photoshop. It was funny, I actually have been using my tablet so often lately that I was drawing the other day, screwed up a line and moved my fingers to hit ctrl+z.... and realized I was drawing on real paper... with real pencil. Life needs an undo key!

just a landscape scene ive been working on in photoshop. need to push the greyscale study further. Also did a few colour tests.
EDIT: Also may as well post this up. Did all these during leno tonight. The top pic i did while he was interviewing some couple from some tv show in america. i cant remember who they are though.
Yes, the perspective is way off, but I don't think putting his leg behind the cloth would salvage anything at this point. Just think of them as separate pictures I guess?
that guy on the right, bog, has one dodgy neck (or perceived neck) area, his shoulders would have to end right where the cloak takes over so his neck looks hella long,
also the guy on the lefts head looks off to me, like the top and the bottom don't quite gell (jell? gel?), plus the torso is completely unreadable for me, but that might just be me
Just a few anatomy problems which let it down. but thats something everyone always works on. Will get better with time. I think his left arm looks a little unfinished. Adding a little more cleaner details in like you've done with the face will make it look a lot better, i think.
i think it would be funny if you had the dude holding a meat pie, and he's trying to put sauce over it, but makes a mess all over himself. Thats happened to me a lot at the footy.
I think you have the style down pretty much, but I think the arms could use a lot of work. He dosen't tend to curve arms like that unless he's drawing children, and even then, when they have a bend at that sort of angle he tends to give them elbows.
I tried to find some good examples but all I could find was cartoon porn really. (seriously, google Marge Simpson without safe search on the horror)
Also, the arms are generally thicker and the torsos shorter. You actually went for the more "correct" proportions in this, but if you want it to look more accurate to the Simpsons style, I'd suggest tweaking those a bit, and getting rid of her collarbones. Also make her neck a *bit* shorter.
Grim- I would also maybe work on the confidence of your line work (or the lack of it)- your lines are quite scratchy and you can tell you have used many small strokes rather than fewer longer ones. Try tracing over the line drawing you have and smooth out the lines.
Rough sketch i did tonight in photosop. Planning on painting this on canvas (hence why not too much time placed in details). Im wanting to experiment with painting directly onto a canvas which has a base colour of entirely black. This method was used for the original batman animated series. I have always wanted to give it a go. The pic is supposed to be based on Majoras Mask, but with a little of a gothic theme to it. i imagine it looking like the castlevania artowork, but it will definately not look anywhere near as good

I really like the setup you have going there, nice composition to me at least. Your lines and such still seem really rough and haphazard though. Too many tiny unsure strokes. Also, I really have no clue as to what's going on (I stopped at ocarina of time) but maybe link should be looking up at what I assume to be the boss? maybe in a bit more of an action pose too. Anyways, good luck!

I love your rendering, always do, but the baby bothers me. The really heavy facial creases, the chest, the hard edge on his right knee, it looks more like a rubber suit than skin, but it's weird. Maybe it is a rubber suit? He's a cyborg baby? I guess it's that there's not enough pushing it one way or the other for me that is bothersome. Maybe that's a good thing.

EDIT: Hey, that video is looking good. You guys are further along than I thought.
How many programmers did you say are working on it?
I might add his head back in later, after I see how it looks ingame.

I love the physics and controls you have going in that. Looks like it could be really fun! Can't wait to see where this goes. ;D
