What was not funny, but sort of interesting, was that there were so many gamers who could not at all see it. Like literally couldn’t see it. So how could you have a conversation with people who don’t understand what you’re talking about and think that you’re sort of seeing race where nothing exists?
Nobody complained about all those fat white zombies at the mall in Capcom's other zombie game...

Is it racist that the Japanese have created this game using American media stereotypes of the brutal, backwards areas of Africa? Is it racist that I am willfully calling them backwards? Is it racist that I have merely chocked this game's racism up to the Japanese being a historically racist people, where dehumanization of blacks is common in their media? At what point did this entire argument become absurd, or was it always absurd?

I've found in my life that those who find racism in everything (even where it doesn't exist) are themselves the racists -- completely held hostage to color and judging everything and everyone based on it alone. They have no desire for a color-blind society, as then their whole way of existence would end.
