Yay, ok. I just wanted to make sure it didn't come across as SHUT YER WHINER-HOLE AND GIT BACK TO WORK IN THE COAL MINES, as that wasn't really what I was going for, but I could see it coming across as such to some people. Glad to know it didn't. Yay.
And 5 rings is worth reading, especially because it's real real short. Also because it will probably make you want to hit something with a sword, because the fun hidden message is "I am Miyamoto Musashi, hitting things with swords made me awesome. If you hit things with swords, you might get awesome too."*

ps: I like the book and all but I bet the guy in your class doing the book cover is a total japanophile nerd, isn't he? I'm right, aren't I?
Also I tried watching that video for a couple minutes and it was kinda 'ha ha bad dubbing parody ok' and then I read a thing and then turned back to it and was like "why am I watching this" and then I turned it off.
so who here agrees that this is probably the best time to invest in a wide collection of Beanie babies and expensive random objects/ornaments that require constant attention and lots of time/money to keep clean
I'm submitting some concept arts for a contest tomorrow. The artwork (as far as I know) can only be accessed by SCAD faculty, and only a certain selection of faculty that will be viewing and judging the entries. They've asked that submissions be 12" by 18" so they can be printed for exhibiting.
I think all of my work is smaller than this, and always 300 dpi...which means a lot of it will have to be blown up, even at full resolution.
Giving them the digital bigger-than-original files is still cool, though, right? I don't really have any other options, I think.
