Yes, I realize the balance was a little off after the fact unfortunately. I really wanted to do something with GF's but that would have made this ridiculous. My only real ideas though were like, Shiva could freeze someone(no action that night), Carbuncle would cast reflect(actions reflected onto user), others maybe, those were the only ones with actual abilities I could think of.
Yeah, I loved the story, but the draw mechanic just made me grrrr at times, because I'm OCD.
If I cast a spell, I just HAD TO GO REFILL straight after to keep the awesome statboost. I think I'd be better about it now.
I love that scene near the start in Balamb Garden with Squall and Rinoa dancing, though I have to say that Selphie and Quistis tie for my favorite character in the game.
The correct way to play FF8 is to never ever cast anything but Aura, maybe some Haste or Slow. Everything else gets Junctioned to turn your characters into physical attacking destroyers of worlds.
