AT-43 is a sci-fi pre-painted miniatures game made by a French company Rackham, the makers of Confrontation.

The full game rules were made available for download today

The game is very fun and plays similarly to confrontation. The big difference with at-43 and confrontation is the activations switching from player to player unit by unit.

Meaning:

At the start of a round both players make an Authority test by rolling a d6 (and adding their commanders leadership value to this roll) The winner of the roll gets to activate his first unit first. After the winner makes his moves with his 1 unit, the activation switches to player two. This continues till all units have been activated.

This is just one of the unique factors of this game.

I will add more to this post when I get some more time.

Do the characters actually have any abilities beyond 'surrender'?

Sorry, had to get that joke out of the way.
