What, they can't handle a released-less-than-24-hours-ago mod crashing? Wimps. Back in the day it was a fight to just get a program enough memory so it could run.
Not sure if ur still taking crash reports, but Vista 32 bit, Radeon 8800 GT. As soon as I double click on a game, I get the Vista: Hl2.exe stopped responding., etc.

Yeah screw 'em. They're just the standard angry men of the internet. In the grand scheme of things they're roughly as prevalent as white noise. And about as significant.
I take back what I said about the weapons; they reward headshots (which they should) but could use some help for those with less smooth connections.
The Remington is nifty if you can plunk them in the head; the DB shotgun has the effect of instantly offing a zombie whereas the pump shotgun is more balanced for run and gun. Do I see an element of strategy?
It's great that the truck seats eight, but hilarity ensues when the ninth, tenth, etc guy watches the truck speed off without them. Anybody have a design solution to the problem? Less people per server? Standing room (i.e. no shooting) positions on the back of the truck?
You can stand on the back of the truck and "ride" it at low speeds, but physics get wonky at higher speeds.

Some shenanigians tonight before I CTD'd and took the server with me:
We backed the truck onto the train and made a mad dash as it pulled away! You can also see my textures are kinda borked (some water textures too as well as the booze room).
I have only played on my own local servers; are people experiencing lag spikes? Gaffer and I share the same university connection, hence the excellent latency in Lacabra's last picture.

Yeah, they seem to be happening pretty regularly. Lag builds up and everyone has a ping somewhere in the 900's. Then after maybe 5 or 6 minutes it slowly goes back down to normal. I'm not sure what's causing it.

Could use more zombies, and less light for more creepiness

Although it would probably make the server explode from having to brain 100 zombies.
Still do it anyways.
hopefully this doesn't happen with actual dedicated servers
If I'm being chased by 8 of the fuckers I'm not going to stop to axe one!
Knock him down to get him the hell away from me then spray bullets wildly.
WOOAAH
hasn't happened with this most recent server I have up, but it did earlier today

No wait, now I don't.
