I wish it had the keyboard shortcuts, and that you could press period or something to move through the text, though.

Tell it you don't have a sound card at the beginning? I don't know; I don't have speakers here, so maybe it just keeps pumping out sound regardless.

Surely you realize they only put in this choice to have the opportunity for another gag?
It uses more primitive PC speaker-like music if you say you haven't got a sound card

a sink or mirror? Is there another room? Because I can't find them! Also, are you supposed to do ANYTHING with the fake food?

    Pick up the bear rug.

Which is why I can't play games like this. I get which verbs I tried mixed up..
I could've sworn I picked it up, and he said "I like it in the middle of the room." But it turns out I only tried to push and pull it. So I'm going through retrying everything on everything, and I'm thinking about picking up the rug and I say, "Nah, I remember that answer.. Must be something else I missed."

There's an executive bathroom that you have to find the entrance to somewhere. Have you gotten into the safe yet?

Yeah, I kept right-clicking on things hoping it would default to the recommended action (talk to person, open door). Instead I just got a flash dialogue box.

    There is.
Look at the cigar box after you have the cutters to notice a keyhole. Then use the key on it. You get a box with a six digit number on it. It's the code for the safe, but it's upside down.

    hint
    look at something again

    solution
look in the cigar box again after you take out the cigar cutter and you will find a keyhole. use the strange key with it and find a matchbook with the combination on it.

I have now completed it twice. Does anything happen if I keep going? Or am I done?

I wish there were more. I also wish I had owned all those cool PNC games back in the day. I never had any of the Lucasarts stuff, no Maniac Mansion, no Monkey Island, no nothing. All I had was Police Quest, and I never got past the biker bar. Later I had Myst but couldn't sit long enough to play much.

Also, there are different endings depending on how many jokes you find. I think there are four different ones - zero jokes, 1-6 jokes, 7+ jokes and all jokes.

    Try zero jokes. :P
