    Round 3

The maw raises his deformed and utters a guttural sounding phrase. The ground around him turns dark black and four zombies that look as if they are about to fall apart claw their way out of the ground.

Tsai-Eshe is overwhelmed and even in her insubstantial form is injured by their blows.

The Archer that Thorn charged drops his longbow and draws his sword, but is unable to connect with the shifter. The other two archers move to help but both their arrows fly wide.

The two remaining pale faced villagers shamble forward and one despite the fire from the druid manages to grab the shaman while the other slams his fist into the dwarf’s stomach.

Nah, no reason. Nobody's bloodied, the Shaman's not out of healing and nobody's used Second Wind yet. We're fine. :)

I'd love it if somebody could take out these archers so I could get down there and tie Maw + rotters up. I'm not great vs. ranged.
May not be daily time but I definitely feel some encounter powers coming soon.

Tsai-Eshe finds herself set upon by more corpses! She does her best to fend them off, managing to crush one of their skulls with her off-hand flail, but is forced to take a step back. This isn't going well for her!

Mhen relaxes and summons the aid of spirits long gone before he nimbly breaks free from the Zombie. As he escapes, Tock steps up and swipes toward the archer the Warden had just begun attacking, rending him and nearly dropping him with a powerful strike that also heartens the Bone Eagle Defender.

Darthan's wolf form moves swiftly to assist a couple of his allies. After running around the outside of the tent, he lays into the zombie that had previously grabbed his companion. Jumping into the air, Darthan's claws find their mark, tearing into the flesh of the undead corpse.

Not content with just one attack, however, Darthan quickly shifts back to his human form. Lifting his staff to the sky, Darthan forms a large, dark cloud over the head of the mysterious, minotaur looking creature and the zombies he summoned. Bolts of lightning streak across the dark cloud while thunder reverberates through the camp. The lightning strikes all three of the monsters underneath it. Both the zombies turn to dust under the lightning barrage. The lightning also strikes the hornless minotaur creature obviously causing some pain. The the attack didn't kill it, but the constant stream of lightning pouring from the sky seemingly distracts the Maw as he prepares his next attack.

Standard: Call lightning on square D14: Maw, Blue Rotter, Purple Rotter (1d20+8=22, 1d20+8=25, 1d20+8=26) Hit! Hit! Hit!
Blue and Pink Rotters fall to dust
    Damage against Maw (1d8+6=12)
    Maw: 32/44 HP
Additional effect: The burst creates a zone of rumbling thunder that lasts until the end of your next turn. While within the zone, any enemy takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls, and any enemy that leaves the zone takes 5 thunder damage.

Just to confirm, Dajian: Do I have line of sight to square D14?

    Round 4.1

The last remaining Rotter stumbles forward and tries to attack the ranger but luckily for the Shadar-Kai its arm falls off before it can get the full force of its weight behind it. The limb flies forward and simply bounces off her.

The Corrupted Minotaur reaches out with his elongated arm. It seems to stretch across the expanse grabbing at Tsai-Eshe, but the druid’s spell prevents him from completing his magical attack.

The remaining pale faced villager slams the shaman once more in the stomach causing the Dwarf to cough up some blood this time.

The three archer’s with their dark and sunken eyes swarm the shift all lunging at him with drawn long swords. Two of the blows land opening gashes in the warden’s skin.

He cheered as his bolt hit enemy after enemy, but his delight turned to terror as he realized there was too much energy left to disperse on the final archer. Round 5.1
The grizzled undead Minotaur sees the way the battle is unfolding. He turns giving Tsai-Eshe a chance to slice at his back but before she can land her blow he leaps with unnatural strength. The party can see him clear the group of trees west of the village.

The last remaining pale faced villager tries to slam into the druid only to miss and been fired by remaining electric charge.

The archers make their last ditch effort against Thorn. One steps back dropping his long sword and launching another arrow into the shifter while the other swings wide with his blade.

With only one target left, Darthan's decision is simple. Turning to the last archer, Darthan mutters a few words as he requests the assistance of nature once again.

As you search the tents you find one disturbing scene after another. The blight has reached Klen-oc and it has not been kind. In several of the tents you find full families who look to have wasted away from starvation. In some of the others you find evidence of a violent end.
In one of the northern most tents you do find a glimmer of hope.
A young woman on the brink of death.
As you enter the tent she opens her eyes as if for the first time in weeks.
“Who are you? Do you have some water and food? I am so hungry.”

In the northwest corner of the village you find a gruesome sight. Nearly a half a dozen corpses have been stacked in a pile. A large circle of blood surrounds them and an ominous image of a skull has been burned into the ground. The stench of death here is pungent and wrong.

All around the village where the enemies lay slain their bodies have soaked into the soil leaving a black sickness that spreads over time. At the rate it is spreading it will only be a matter of days until the entire village succumbs to the blight.
While checking the tents you also found a cache of mundane weapons, food stuffs, mundane survival equipment, and 2600 gp (All the communities gold).

In examining the circle you can feel a dark presence underneath and it seems the corpses were being drawn through the earth itself into another realm of existence. This must have produced the column of black smoke that you saw when you approached the village. The same type of smoke the leaked forth from the archers and is now infecting the very land that surrounds you. The ritual seems to have a secondary purpose from the desecration of this land almost as if this ritual were just one of the first steps to a larger ritual, though what that could be you have no idea.

The young Elven girl thanks you for the water and food. As she eats you can see color flush back into her face. She seems to gain more strength every moment you speak with her.
    “I…, We…,

We had visitors not five moons ago. They were hunters who said they were on their way to Willoan to trade their furs. They seemed tired. Their eyes were so dark like they had not slept in days.
Our leader Priestess Elean, she welcomed them in and gave them food and shelter.
After two days the men… they still looked just as tired. Then other villagers began getting tired as well. They stopped eating and gathering out in the plains. The priestess she said that she could not see any sickness in them or us.

Then some of the men of the tribe began to get angry. Their wives were not out gathering and they would shout. Crok and Rok… I’ve never seen them yell at anyone ever, but they were so angry they started fighting. Then…”
The girl begins to break down in sobs. After a few moments she draws from what little strength she has left.
“There was so much blood and the hunters they started rounding up those who had fallen into a deep sleep and stacked them by the Priestess tent.
The last thing I remember is the Priestess arguing with them then I blacked out.”
