fandy it just sounds like your friends are inherently deadbeats with no discipline and it doesnt really have anything to do with their living arrangements

I moved out of my grandparent's home when I was 20. I was a lazy bum and my grandmother's cooking is wonderful. I didn't really move though so much as get a new room, I now live next door to them and pay them rent. It's a decent enough house but the upside is that the rent is cheap (no, they didn't lower it for me, I pay the same as every other tennant this house has had) and they're lenient about my payments. Plus I carpool with my grandfather (we work at the same place) and I can eat next door whenever I like. I'll probably move farther away once I'm married but till then I'm going to take this easy opportunity I have.
tl;dr I'm lazy and I live next door to mah grandparents.

We need a Curb Your Enthusiasm thread so I can talk about how hard it was watching the doll episode.

There is a restaurant in Dresden that only serves dishes with horse meat.
The horse gulash there is pretty tasty.
They eat horses in France and anything with 4 legs that isn't a table in China.
They cast a shadow like a sundial in the morning light. It was half past 10.
If it burns it earns.

I've looked at a couple jobs like that before and it's might tempting, since you can always fine a second job to supplement that one.
And jesus, $20-$25 is crazy awesome for a job like that.
