I still haven't seen the new Indiana Jones, for the exact same reason that I haven't seen Episodes 2 and 3.

Namely, I made myself promise that I will not give George Lucas any more of my money or time ever again.

Libraries usually have free DVD checkouts.
I saw two as a kid, and three just to see what happened.

    Crystal Skull was okay.

I still thought it was better than Temple of Doom, but I really hated the lady in Temple of Doom.

See Mori knows where it's at

It's not the best Indiana Jones film but it's certainly not terribl and actually incredibly enjoyable, especially when considering how much time took place in between this and Last Crusade.

The most mind-boggling thing about Crystal Skull to me is Cate Blanchett's accent. I just... why? How did that happen? There are at least three people who could've stopped and said, "Wait a minute, maybe sounding like she should be chasing Moose and Squirrel is not a good idea after all."

So it's pretty much keeping in step with the rest of the series?

    yeah, pretty much

the best part of the entire evening was the dipshit who was trying to drive his Neon like he was in the movie and smashed into a Jersey barrier

The first one is pretty funny. Again: Stupid movie, cool cars. It's motorporn is all it is. Same with the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds.

on a scale of Anaconda (movies you should see once just because) to Glitter (just no), the first two and this most recent one are in the first category and Tokyo Drift is in the second

[tiny]Tokyo Drift was terrible but I had the biggest crush on Han[/tiny]

I'm kinda bummed Justin Lin got sucked into the F&F franchise. Tokyo Drift, and now this.

I mean, it's good for him - I'm sure the money is amazing.

But Better Luck Tomorrow was so good that I feel like every movie he's done since has just been a waste of talent.

The worst ending to something great is Veronica Mars.

    Because there is no ending.

    It just stops. :(

Oh, is that good? I'll have to check it out.

And Pitch Black was awesome. I don't think I'd ever see Chronicles of Riddick, though, or whatever the sequel was called, since I hear that's crap.

When and if the second season gets released on DVD, I hope it has the last few episodes

I'm assuming those were filmed, at least. It seems like they could have been!

I think part of my admiration for the dude is also that he's a big ol' geek.

Dude's got his D&D character's name tattooed on him or something!
