I... I just couldn't bring myself to choose Moby Dick.

so I went with something a little more, low key/obvious:

    larger/answer
    Lord of the Flies

Not for consideration of winning or anything, I just had an idea, and wanted to try my hand at painting...I think I'm getting a little better.

    Aw shucks. :)

I'm still learning. It's a damn sight better than my initial outings in comics about 6 months ago or so...

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the contest. Heh. The 20,000 Leagues one is masterful...I also like the Prozac one...though I don't know precisely what book it's talking about...maybe Prozac Nation?

    Super Late Entry:

Kinda lame if I make a challenge and not even participate in it.

The tagline: when God's vengeance wasn't quite good enough.

I always thought as a kid that 20,000 leagues under the sea meant Captain Nemo went straight down 20,000 leagues, turns out 20,000 leagues is a return trip to the moon.

    This is awesome.
