300 is almost out and it looks to be completely awesome.

But I'm afraid watching it will encourage Miler more and he will continue with his plan to make a angry emo Spirit movie.

    300 looks awesome, im really looking foreward to it. They just put in a new "ultrascreen" here in town thats about the size of an i-max screen. Seeing 300 on that will be quite awesome.

    I'm seeing it on IMAX as soon as humanly possible.

    I will say that I was disappointed to find out that the lead also played the phantom in the Phantom of the Opera movie, though.

    Having read the book does make me laugh at the soon to by ytmnd classic dialog in that scene. The trailer is even worse, because they're all yelling "SPAARTAAANS!"

    The movie will still be entertaining, but Citizen Kane this is not.

    As long as you look at 300 as a movie about a comic which was just barely inspired by an actual event in military history (which is itself less than accurate since we really don't know exactly how many guys fought how many other guys,etc) you should have no trouble enjoying the flick for what it is.

    And what it is is the beginning of a new religion, the first prayer goes like like SSSSSSSPAAARRRRTAAAAA! (It's fun to say even in text form!)
