You were at two, but you got one back recently. Unless I forgot to destroy one on my status page...
To be clear, you were at two, then went back up to three, and are now back down to two before this crisis due to the loss from Chief's scouting mission. Current number of available raptors is two.
Though we may be close to the end, I do like having an insurance policy for making the vital Scouting rolls we'll want to perform. We should have plenty of spare Piloting cards that won't be used for much else, so I think it's a check that we can at least try for. Then again, it'll take a lot more cards to try and pass the check than it will to simply get Chief out of sickbay before his turn. But I still don't like losing a raptor, even this late in the game...
I'm on board with letting this one fail. Think about it...after this crisis, we only need one more jump prep before we can force a -3 jump. But, at that point, who cares about losing 3 population? If I understand things correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong, that jump will win it for the humans, regardless of whether the jump is successful.

The humans can win with the completion of their next jump, yes. You could even say that things [strike]are[/strike] seem to be going well for the fleet.

To keep myself safe from an untimely cylon reveal, I'm going to move to the hangar deck and launch at 5 O'Clock. For my bonus action, I'll play 2 Launch Scout to scout the crisis deck. I will not play SP on this roll and judging by the fact that nobody played one on the last scout, you can probably go ahead with the roll. But feel free to wait a little while if you want.

So this is our last raptor- the situation has definitely changed since last scout.
Hi, Dr. Gaius!
I'm going to play Tactics 3 to make scouting a sure thing. Don't want to take chances this late in the game. Let's get some jump prep so Helo can jump us to Kobol.
Starbuck's turn, continued: Someone has snuck into Baltar's lab and messed with his equipment.
Crisis! Detector Sabotage
8 Leadership, Tactics
Pass: No effect
Fail: All characters in the "Research Lab" location are sent to Sickbay. Keep this card in play. Players may not look at other players' Loyalty Cards. (Activate heavy raider) (Advance jump prep)
So as curious as I am about who is actually a cylon at this point, I see no reason to pass this check. Assuming Helo is a human (which he must be since he didn't use his OPG to change the Chief's decision on the previous crisis), humans win on the next turn. Let's just get this over with.

I like your optimism, but that's incredible unlikely, no contribution.
