I hella want to build one of these MicroATX computers, then buy custom-cut foam mold to go into a nice metal suitcase along with a small-ish (probably 15") LCD monitor, one of those keyboards that rolls up, and a wireless laptop mouse. It will be my portable computer without being a laptop.
I was thinking of just like, bolting a monitor to the side of the case or something...
Damnit, I was so excited while I was researching and selecting parts for this thing and now when it comes time to put up the cash I can't do it. Should I really be spending $400 on a computer, even if I will derive great utility from it for years to come?
Aggggh.
How tight is your budget? How old is your current computer?
My budget is fairly elastic at the moment, but there are other things I could put this money towards.
And this computer I'm contemplating wouldn't replace my current computer. My current computer is still very capable, however I think building a small-form-factor PC would be fun and I intend to use it in order to learn how to install and maintain a linux server, which I think would also be fun.

Almost all of them.

Fatal Frame? It's a game about photography.
Um. I can't remember! Stores should be opening up in your town that sell chassis.
Ooo... Have you played Mirror's Edge?
Fuck that.
Learn to build robots with me.
Edit: And it was wonderful.
Assassin's Creed?
Mass Effect?
Possibly worth renting again for a second play through.
Oh hey looks like Cinders may have won.
Capcom has probably the worst level designers in all of video game history, including small indie games made by sweaty nerds in basements.
Even including Bungie?
There needs to be a crossover game with Fatal Frame and Pokemon Snap.
Even if it's just an April Fool's joke.
Also I agree with Evil. As much as I like Dead Rising saving is a pain.
I just want them to bring over the fourth game in the series.
nah, cause I know you don't mean it really, and two why would you even say that they need no further encouragement they're winning by double digits
that's pretty rifuckulous
What if you said "Go Team Rockets"
But...I do mean it. I've been rooting for the Rockets in that series cuz I like Yao.
I think my brother has a pair of those.
but they're not like your team
I like Yao too
except when he plays dirty because he knows the refs will let him do it
sigh
