It would probably be a really, really good idea to edit the first post to at least add the names of everyone who's listed their fighter in the thread. Since so many people are joining through you, it's kind of referal whoring at this point. I've joined as Jothki. Edit: http://jothki.mybrute.com

Yup I was using the pressure pointer, though I didn't know there was a difference between the damage the move dealt, and getting an instakill. So yeah I was basically doing what you said Jothki. I've already got one down at least, so now I only need two more.

There must be something because SMB1 doesn't have shitty controls. The physics of the game are a little different than what jothki might be expecting too, its kind of got a momentum thing going on that isn't always easy for people to grasp quickly. Speaking of NES VC games, did they ever fix the muddy colors?

This along with Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura are all excellent suggestions. edit: also, everything here is great. They're even having a 10% off sale this month! edit2: looks like jothki beat me to the Spiderweb Software suggestion! That's okay though, their games are great and deserve as much attention as I…

I actually quite like the look of the Bazel set Though I have since replaced it with a new edgelord look (Really ought to get some better lighting for further pics, though) By the way, your tip to have a friend load up my save to bypass the bugged cutscene saved me, @jothki . Thanks a lot!

I get the feeling that in jothki's perfect market, the only way to buy a copy of a video game is to literally fellate anyone who worked on it directly, funded its creation, or had a cup of coffee near the development studio. I suppose if there's a promotion going on they might also accept kidneys taken from unwilling…

I find myself sharing jothki's sentiment. I think it's going to be a lot more fun once we get to world 3 or so. The early puzzles that can be solved with 1-2 objects sort of require you to gild the lily with bunch of extra useless shit instead of being both innovative and funny at the same time.

Nope, jothki in that as well. Excalibur is actually my worst table at this point, I have yet to break past 80 millionish. Now that I have all four awards in El Dorado and a 265 millionish score, there's really not much point to playing that particular table any more, since doing any better is going to be really, really…

Not just ones I've posted in, but all threads I've subscribed to since two years ago have disappeared from the usual "Subscribed Threads" menu. Edit: Regarding jothki's post below, if I subscribe to threads now they stick (including ones I was subscribed to before that aren't there anymore), it's just that I don't see my…

Yep. "Yes, those are the words which are on your screen. What does that actually mean?" is a something I frequently say to younger devs I am mentoring when helping them debug something. That and much like @jothki's experience: "Well, I knew to look there in the code because the very first line of this error message says it…
