So I felt a touch of the diablo 2 itch this past week and I have been fighting it. But I just got a cavity filled and I am super ornery and I need something to take my mind off of it. And I just want to click on some monsters until they die so they can give me some pretty pimp items.
I'll update this first post if more people are interested. I personally am going to be playing Hardcore, ladder mode on US East. I'll put your character class and name in here as well. I'm looking to play as a necromancer. Maybe a druid. Haven't decided yet. I doubt people will need to play on US West for latency issues, and I've always just defaulted to East, but I'll keep track of it anyway, maybe some people already have characters on there? I'm assuming everyone has LoD. But I will update the thread further if people need a place to play vanilla d2(yucky).

I have no idea what to go with.
Basically, what's SOP for powerleveling? Doing all the acts and then area runs, or area run/act rush/area run etc?
In my experience, it doesn't really matter, but typically it happens that you get acts done, then area runs. However, you'll eventually reach the point where you need Ancients and Baal for Act 5, which have level requirements, thus making you work your way up eventually, unless you use that glitching technique

I've been thinking and Blessed Aim would be really weak to have up all the time...that one can be a merc only aura, I think.
But I will gladly keep up Vigor for our continued speed and stamina! So I am Vigorous_Lad, the Hammerdin.
Want to coordinate our builds a little, too? Like have some hammerdins and some zealots and a smiter and maybe a weirdo who uses sacrifice or something.
I think I will get on right now and just level a bit. USEast, panr/wang. Do we want to set a more solid time to do it regularly, or can people just jump in like right now, or in a few hours?

I just bought the expansion. It's a smaller download than the full game, so I should be ready to rock and roll in 20 minutes.
Also all you guys buying the game I hope your not paying for it at blizzard because as mentioned before you can get both keys for lod and vanilla for 5$ at g2buy and then enter them at blizzard.com and then download the clients.
