Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I thought the jokes about Frozen Horrors in the northern wastes of Europe were just stereotypes.

Because white-hot molten metal is so much more fun than paint.

I seem to remember a certain nordman calling us Yankydoods "barbaric".

    Never said we weren't

we aren't that different from our ancestors

the letterman thread makes me sad.

    people are reacting wrong

How are they reacting? I'm basically pissed at Letterman for abusing authority, but at the same time sorta ameliorated on that feeling since he screwed over an extortionist.

I'm much much less concerned about the abusing authority bit because there's no particular evidence of it.

Nobody on the first page seemed to even mention the extortion
Yeah, it seems more like he was just boning groupies who happened to work for him. Something tells me if it was harassment-based, he'd be up to his neck in lawsuits.

It doesn't have to be sexual harassment in order to constitute an abuse of power. Even if they were groupies.

I was wrong, it's only 2500 C or 4500 fahrenheit you get with iron oxide

still enough to melt through alot of things tho, so it's okay

And your penis can't write calligraphy. Mind arguing with the sentiment rather than the fact that it's an idiom?
