    Gloss 3 will be an amalgamation of multiple settings. It calls back to a previous setting that DE?AD made and ran a few years back in his hometown.

    Gloss 3 is similar in spirit to the big setting for the comic book opus thing I want to make my name doing. On a detail level, though, it's not really even a little similar, and, really, the spirit thing is largely just because they're both settings that I've tuned to function in the same way my brain does.

    The closest other thing I've run would be the Wushu one-shot I did with Mori, Janson, and Dubh.

    As for Gloss 2's inspirations, Fallout does factor in, just not, y'know, Fallout 3 which I've never played to any extent and is just a less funny version of the world presented in Fallout 1 and 2. Like Dubh says, though, the whole "Post-Apocalyptic world with mutants, psychics, and robots" is sort of a common, long-running thing. The Fallout series used it, but they by no means originated it.

    Gloss 1 wasn't really based on ME1 either. It just followed some of the same generic scifi space opera stuff that ME1 did but then made it specific to ME1 by directly calling back to it a few times

    I mean obviously I'm wrong since you're the one that talks to dead on a daily basis but I just figured Manceric Effect : Mass Effect :: RAD : rad

    Manceric Effect was a direct call back, and RAD is a direct pun on rad, but it's not just Fallout that calls radiation rad.
