Fall TV Season! New Shows that Look Promising!

So dudes, its September! You know what that means? Fall TV Season wooooo! New shows! Old shows coming back with new stuff! Awesome! Get your dvrs ready because there are a few shows that are looking mighty fine

Need a handy guide to let you know whats premiering and returning in the next few weeks?

For now, lets start with a few new shows:


Terriers

is a show premiering this week on FX about private investigators, and stars Donal Logue, who is awesome. Dunno anything more specific about the show, but its from FX, who have had a great record with awesome shows lately (Justified, Sons of Anarchy)



Boardwalk Empire

New HBO show about Atlantic City during the prohibition era, directed by Martin Scorcese and starring Steve Buscemi and fucking Omar Little. This pretty much should be the return of HBO sunday nights being amazing again. Its not TV, its HBO

Basically, Heroes but with the Fantastic Four story instead of X-Men, but hopefully it won't turn into poop after half a season. And it stars Michael Chiklis! who is awesome



And of course, there's tons of older shows coming back. Personally, my DVR looks a mess since I plan on catching Its Always Sunny, Life Unexpected, How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, Castle, Glee, Modern Family, The whole NBC Thursday night (minus parks and recreation :( boooo Outsourced), Supernatural, and The Good Guys. Whew.

    Can't wait for Boardwalk Empire.

    I saw the free No Ordinary Family pilot and it was pretty decent, I'll watch more.

    New QI season starts on the 17th! (best birthday)

    the Walking Dead show looks pretty good. I think I'll watch that for a while, see if it can hold my interest longer than the comic did.

    I couldn't care less about any of the new shows that are premiering. Boardwalk sounds interesting but I only have basic channels.

    The Event looks awful, Raising Hope looks almost as bad as the Cavemen show from a couple years back.

    when it got to like the millionth babillionth arc i sorta dropped interest

    kirkman can be lauded for being able to do a long form story and have everything plotted out

    but one of the things i hate about that is how long winded he gets

    i always would've liked the walking dead better as a show, and given AMC's pedigree for some good ass shows i can't wait for this to drop.

    i don't have the same sense of love for Lost a lot of you have

    i bear no ill will towards it but from the episodes i have seen, it just hasn't hooked me

    Star Trek was cool, though

    fuck, why not just have him on as executive producer for a new Trek series

    Is there a theme this season? Like maybe one where the models actually have model bodies? Not that there was anything wrong with a girl who is 5'3, has a lazy eye, a noticeable limp when she walks, and tattoos all over her arms. And fat.
