Please don't fret that other people are getting awesome presents and yours hasn't arrived yet. I just placed an order for 2/3rds of your presents from amazon. My wife and I are going to have fun making your box o' stuff. Because you live very close to me, I'll probably have everything out to you by the 2nd week of december. Amazon says to me by the 3rd, then I'll be shipping you a big box.

I went to the door to check if the mail was here, and boy howdy was it ever. Three packages for me, and also two padded envelopes. Even better, one of the packages is a secret santa gift! I don't know yet if it's from here or the SE++ SS, but I will soon find out.
Also, one of the packages and one of the envelopes were secret santa gifts...but the other two things were for me >.>
Clearly the only gift that will top the PS3's now is when someone else sends the hardest thing to find: True Love.

So, I've been (allegedly) Christmas shopping with LewieP's Mummy's Mummy today. She bought herself some boots, some spoons, some other stuff, and I bought 2 presents, one for LewieP's Sister, and one for you, Santee, cos I think (nearly) everyone loves these films, and so would love something from one, and (bonus for me) it doesn't weigh much!

They don't use Steam yet. Unless they have no PC or internets, I can't see someone refusing to use Steam for a gift received game. Get a proxy to ask. It can't hurt.

The Steam gifting process is super versatile. If you don't know their account or email, or they don't have one, choose "Gift via Email," gift it to yourself, and you'll have a URL that can be claimed by anyone.
You can also manage your gifts and re-gift later if it's not redeemed and you need to send it again or to someone else.
Edit: And Santee? That Steam sale is going to make your gifts even giftier, but you're not getting them beforehand. You'll get your gift codes in the package along with everything else.
Dear Santa: If you're eyeballing my Steam Wishlist, it's not really ranked in the order of what I want most. I just shoved the five most expensive games on it to the top for the "win your top 5 most wanted" games contest.
Good news, Santee! Your main gift has arrived. I'd thought I wouldn't get it until next week at the earliest. Now I can put off mailing it while I look around for additional goodies.

To my santa. I filled out a wish list on steam. Do not get any of the games on there for me. They are purely for the giveaway that is going on. The list is basically "meh if its free ill play it". Then again its your choice since you are my santa, I just didnt want to give the wrong impression that I was actively seeking those games.
They are selling MS points in 1400 point chunks now? How expensive is that? This is one of those things that really pisses me off about MS, they used to sell 2000 points for 20 bucks, then decided the could just without notice or reason change it to 1800 for 20 bucks just to make more money.
Looks like MS have done it again then, because 1400pts cost US$20 now
Of course, I put Darth Vader together first, then set him next to my original "Darth Vader." And yes, that is a custom job with a custom [strike]paint[/strike] permanent marker job.

I hate to bring this up, but I won't have my own PC again until I get a new one next February, when my student aid comes in. So a Steam gift would be kind of awkward... I'm sorry for being such a crappy Santee, Santa. I don't even have a console... guess I must be a pain to buy for. Gah, I'm just having a bad day, don't mind me.
