Last year there was a jar set up at BYOC to drop buttons in to give to Mike and Jerry. That came up halfway through PAX and was kind of last minute. Is there plans on doing something like that from the get go this year?
Also, I have maybe 10-15 of my 2010 PAX Button as well, for any first timers.
I can make that happen again if someone wants to communicate to everyone that its there for people to drop buttons off in.

I made a community heraldry for last PAX East and this Prime, and for the last few years people kept saying it would be cool to have an identifying Buttoneer button. So, I made one, based on the look of the heraldry, but stripping out the East and non-button events.
I have my own 2-1/4 button machine, would I be able to ask you for a digital copy of that design so I can make some even larger ones?
I should note, my buttons arrived in mega ultra quick time. It must've been no more than 5 days between my order and the date I received them (got them late last week, or was it early this week? Either way, super quick).
EDIT: Also Red, you're crazy! I imagine your buttons will be awesome though, your troll/coolface button was epic.

Don't put the date on them. If they show up late, bring them next time. My buttons this year are from 2009 that have somehow missed three PAXes. They're still good!

I am sad that I didn't do buttons this year. I am going to PAX Dev, and with the cost of that plus the loss of two days I don't have time. Plus, I have a whole vest covered in buttons from last year that has hung in the closet since... last year. The panels are also better this year than ever, and I barely have time for the show floor. I think I have 3.5 hours of show floor time. I'm going to have to drop some panels but I've dropped some already due to conflicts with other panels. As fun as it is swapping buttons (AND IT IS RIDICULOUSLY FUN, DON'T GET ME WRONG), I just don't have time and I don't want to do it half-assed.

I thought of that, but I'd rather risk getting them a bit late at home. Purebuttons site says they can do 24 hour turnaround order. "This is an additional 125% of your order total and only available for orders under 2,500 buttons." Not bad.

I finally got around to designing and ordering buttons. The order cost about 111$ due to the rush shipping I needed to order, and the button designs are low-tech, but they'll serve.

On the BUTTONEERING Site, there are 177 buttons listed, is that a record?
Don't know. This is the first year we've tried to keep anything close to an official count.
I'll count the buttons on my hat from last year when I get home. It won't be an official number from 2010, but call it 75% of the total number maybe...

Of the buttoneer button? I can send you a copy. I just ask that you not make crazy amounts, because I have 200 I'll be needing to hand out. We could probably use some extras, if we have over 170 people who registered on the site (I'm sure there are some who didn't post their buttons). I'll track down the file I sent off and respond to your PM.
I may parcel out some to other buttoneers to get them distributed faster and lighten my load.
To those who are wondering why some people who ordered after you already had their buttons shipped, Katie from Pure Buttons informed me that square buttons take longer (but not longer than the 7-10 business day guaranteed turnaround.)
