    13 days to more Venture.

Is it just the special or do we actually get another season this year?

Summer is last we've heard, though it's possible Hammer and/or Publick keel over from exhaustion.

Heh, we're also getting Season 6 of Archer this year, but Venture Brothers has been around 7 years longer than Archer.

    Go Team Venture!

And since I only heard about the special today, I only have to wait 6 days unlike you poor sods who've waited since December. (I'm lying. I've been waiting since the end of Season 5.)

You say that as if the creators were physically capable of writing an episode with Brock but without Shore Leave.

Not that I'm complaining, Shore Leave is awesome.

Has there even been another flamboyantly gay action badass in movies/on TV? One where, like Shore Leave, it winds up seeming like a celebration rather than a parody. Honestly curious.

The creators said somewhere that he's a breakout character they're very happy with.

That's a great question! Shore leave is about as flaming as they come but also the 2nd biggest bad ass on that show after Brock. Nice two see both being portrayed as not mutually exclusive for once.

What about Ray Gillette on Archer?
He may not be as much a badass as Shore Leave, but he's an ISIS field agent, so that means he has to be somewhat of a badass, right?

Korra and Asami in Legend of Korra?
Not sure if it counts as it was only confirmed in the last 15 seconds or so of the last episode of the series, and I don't know if they could be described as flamboyant.
Definitely hits the "action badass" qualification though.

I'm starting to wonder if I watch too many cartoons.
