Remnants of a murder-suicide of some NPC's wife, himself, and I'm assuming his brother? friend? because the husband couldn't conceive of bringing a child into the world in Golem City.
What the fuck.
Also, I spotted a guard in GC walking all the way to an outhouse and then, instead of entering the outhouse, just pissing in the corner next to it because (I guess) why not?

Subject: Gray Project Schedule
I've attached a preliminary schedule for the Gray Project and want to get your
input before we meet next week. Couple of issues I want to whiteboard are
their ability to spontaneously generate radiation as a form of "attack", and
their apparent resistance to a number of environmental conditions.
We're still trying to resurrect all the information from the old Dreamland
data wells, but we have managed to extract a complete genetic sequence from
the old bovine experiments that have given us two viable test subjects.
They've been isolated in a radioactive field downstairs for observation if
you want to work up your informal impressions prior to the meeting.
BTW, we still haven't heard from Feng about the karkian eggs - we've got the
Hong Kong police out looking for him now, but we'll need to push back our
planned infant karkian development studies until we hear something.
Thanks,
Dr. Lundquist

An interesting idea, Bob, but I'm sure MJ12's research allocations can be put
to more substantial use pursuing our human augmentation projects; however,
I'll bring up the idea with Stanton and Morgan.

I think this elevator has Glass-Shield technology.
I found the elevator, but the waypoint system seems to go bananas if you enter from the top of Ridit Station instead of bottom.
Unfortunately the game set up a guard inside a wall and he's looking directly at the elevator controls... I cant shoot him since he is technically inside the walls, but he can see me just fine.
Uhhh. There's a waypoint system?
Is this disabled in Give Me Deus Ex difficulty?

There is also a much useful "Highlight Lootable Items" that is toggled off.
I dont think its difficulty related though, probably just toggled off for everyone at first?
Well shit. I looted all of Prague without that even enabled (and I'm certain I looted every single item except for whatever's in the places you cannot access on your first go).
I missed a fairly decent chunk of side quests the first time through:
Killing Otar in order to get the chip locks you out of 2-3 quests. Not having neuropozyne for the guy selling info right outside your apartment also locks you out of three.
I'm trying to figure out if there are any more like the
Neon questline
That started - for me, at least - with hacking a neighbor's computer.

I think the neuropozine guy just sends you to places where quests can start, but it doesn't necessarily mean you have to get them from him. One of his "tips" sends you to the fake police checkpoint, as an example.
Second spoiler
There are a bunch of ways to start the Neon quest. You can break into the neighbor's apartment, you can break into an apartment near TF29, you can find the lab in the sewers, and there's probably more.

It is difficulty related.
On Deus Ex mode mission markers are turned off unless you go to the map screen.

Even if you did the "Point of interest" the guy is selling, usually you can get some extra experience from grabbing them from him and going there.

The only Otar related sidequest is SM9. So no just 1 not 2-3. Also he's a scumbag so not helping him is probably for the best.

I'm not sure it is. I did some (admittedly brief) searches on this, and according to someone on Steam, one of the updates turned off some HUD options for everyone irrespective of difficulty.
Not sure if that is true or not.
Regardless, you can simply toggle the item highlights back on and it doesn't seem to have any negative impact.

Yeah 350 XP, I believe, just for visiting the Point of Interest.
Anyone have any idea about my Typhoon question? I plan to do a lethal play through next so I'm not sure if I should take non-lethal Typhoon in this one. I don't want to be locked out of lethal Typhoon.
Also, anyone have any idea about my Michal question from yesterday?

It's probably listed as only 1, but he gives you:
The one to get rid of the fake French, actually Dvali merchant/smuggler in Golem City. So that's 1.
If you do that successfully, he asks you to help the owner of the Red Queen, which results in the fun groom abduction mission, so that's 2.
Oh, no, Pacifist did pop when I got to the menu, for some bizarre reason. And I know I popped an alarm during the last boss fight, so I'll try that a few more times, see if I can get it working.

I literally switched to Deus Ex and they turned off.
Then switched back and they turned back on.
Like that was the only reason I switched back and it was 100% due to that. Strange.
You can also check how many kills you have in the app.
You don't even need the app, you can just use this page which is where the app gets its info from: https://www.deusex.com/stats/dx-md
I wouldn't trust the numbers too much though, some stats are all kinds of fucked up for me, like saying I have 1044 hours spent cloaked, triggered 265 alarms and my top looted item is Typhoon Ammo.

I had this EXACT same problem in my first playthrough. There were a couple of angles I could shoot him with my stun gun from, but once he fell over, he'd fall straight through the level and presumably die. So after a few save reloads, what I ended up doing was wasting a couple of Biocells and just using stealth camo to press the elevator button and ride it up. By the time my energy ran out, I was well out of range. I ended up getting Pacifist when I finished it, so it luckily didn't break anything.
Right when I think I'm done with the first Network in Breach, I find out that's only the first HALF of the first Network. Breach mode is so long, boring and repetitive.
It is repetitive, but I kinda like it. It's like the old MGS VR missions.
I dunno, I loved VR Missions because I thought they did a good job playing around with MGS's mechanics and had some really cool level design and ideas in there (Kaiju Soldiers!). Breach levels, on the other hand, I'm finding really straight forward and boring.
So I'm remote hacking a window in Golem City. It pops open, and, voila, a terminal. I go to check it out, and aggro the largest population of cops in the GC.
I'm tempted to reload.
Instead I pop my Titan shield. It was a maasacre, and Adam looked so pissed in his takedowns. I slit a corrupt cop's throat while he was taking a piss.
after I saved them from cops. Press e to talk. Puffs on cigar in stolen cop uniform. "time for samizdat to go international". Fuck yeah, Bones. Damn right it is.
Fact 1: we will get more Deus Ex games considering ending of this one.
Fact 2: whatever Adam does, future is fucked, as seen in original Deus Ex.
What are your thoughts about future of the series? I was OK with prequel if this was one game, but now we will have Adam as protagonist of at least trilogy, and i don't really want to see him suffer and die in vain, because continuity REQUIRES for Jensen to fail and Bob Page to win.
My most prefered option would be, if in last game of Jensen series main ending would lead to original Deus Ex, but there was Golden Ending available after ridiculous amount of hard work made by player, where we get happy ending, and it all becomes just alternate continuity.

Are you able to re-select lethal vs non-lethal, or is it permanently locked to whatever you initially chose for all NG+ that spawn from that save?
Nope, there is also an ingame thing you can toggle in options, it basically highlights the edges of interactive items outside of Smart Vision.

As with all Deus Ex games, the silenced pistol is the only weapon I ever need.
also I think I used my tranq rifle and stun gun maybe a couple of times each despite having 100 and 50 ammo for each, respectively
Mine didn't pop until after the long-ass news feed, but right before the credits.

Deus ex is no longer canon.
They can take elements of it that work but work it into a new plot line.
I tell you, greasels! Crawling through air ducts is too safe right now.
