And anyway blood dks are squishier than other tanks but they're easier to group with as a healer, namely because they can do extremely useful spot healing to not just themselves but the entire group. If your gear is good and you're doing what you're supposed to do, it's probably because you've had bad healers.
Are they nicer for healers to group with? I honestly don't know, I have all the healing experience of a dead cod, but I would think they would prefer less pants-browning spikes in health; wouldn't that make DKs less desirable?

k, just making sure so I don't f this up, here's my situation:
I played on Dark Iron (Alliance) for nearly my entire WoW run. I quit before Cataclysm but I have a couple 80s and probably a decent amount of gold (tho not by today's standards) and likely a sizable amount of crafting mats. My thought was to transfer most/all of my non-bound items and cash to one char and then have that char be the one I transfer over to play with you guys. The more I think about it, however, that doesn't seem like the best way to do it. Having never really played a Horde char, I feel like I'd be screwing myself by not leveling up a Horde char to familiarize myself with the towns and zones and whatnot.
That said, there's also a good chance that I'll play for the month to get whoever their mount and stop once D3 comes out, possibly returning depending on how into D3 I get.
What do you guys think is the best way to deal with the scroll perks?
I hope they make some cool DK glyphs because everyone seems to be getting cool stuff but us

Glyph of Horn of Winter - When used outside of combat, your Horn of Winter ability causes a brief, localized snow flurry.
Also, to be fair to Zay, I also got turned around on that attempt. Noticed something didn't feel right, then noticed no one else with me except Zay, then ran over to the group. Although, to be fair to me I also didn't kill the last tentacle causing one to respawn in the socket we were all standing in.
I wasn't DPSing the last tentacle either
