AFI's coming to my town

They're coming, which is cool, but I don't like AFI. In fact, I only know one person who does.

I'm surprised the show hasn't sold out, considering this is a small town and bands like them don't ever come. I guess Humboldt County isn't really the place for emo "punk" bands with hair flaps.

Actually, I hate AFI. The singer looks like a scary vulture, and if I were younger he'd give me nightmares. I judge them entirely on they're looks, but their music isn't that special either.

I don't think I should go. Am I wrong?

    What I heard from them suck. But people always say their older stuff is way better. But you can't go back in time.

    It only sucked because AFI now sucks. And them coming here makes them suck a little more, which makes any discussion of them suck.

    Like I went to see The Foo Fighters because Jawbreaker opened for them once. Also Sunny Day Real Estates rhytm section was playing on that tour.

    I don't get people who are like 'I like this genre but hate that genre'

    every genre has some good bands and a lot of bad bands
