Why gamespy? I hated that thing.

It's not GameSpy, it's gamespy matchmaking technology that's being used.

I'm thinking that the Wii Code will be all you need as well. I'm more curious if/when they are going to introduce some type of Wii microphone as not every game is going to interact w/ the DS.

    I'm waiting for BWii

Battalion Wars was so good, but lack of multiplayer killed it

Gamespy also does the online for the DS. So who knows what we will get.

Yes, but the DS has no storage space and thus has no support for any kind of online service across multiple games.

That's not entirely true. The DS does store the wifi settings in a small amount of flash memory that also contains its BIOS (the basic OS that runs before you start a game.) It's unclear exactly how much room is available, but there might be enough room there to store the data required.

Seriously, get rid of friend codes altogether. I stopped playing my DS online altogether because of friend codes, it was just way to much work. It's a stupid idea and completely without merit.

Fuck the kids. Kids are what's wrong with the world. I haven't heard of any kids being invited to a gangbang rape party over xbox live. It's not that big of a deal.

I think that's what they're trying to stop.
